Tony Parsons Jayden & the mysterious mountain

I assume this is for teen readers. Resilient is my 1st word. I realize this was fiction but I can relate 2 it. I lived in 13 states & the best I can figure went 2 23 different school until age 18. My father suffered from WWII PTSD & was very abusive. I got tired of it & asked 2 be placed in foster care along with my adopted sister, 2 make a long story short I barley graduated HS, got a BS sociology (criminal justice) & later a MSW (school counseling). Married/divorced 3 kids. The bottom line somewhere a child might get lucky & get a wonderful break like these kids in this book. U hafta put in your effort.

Thanks again for the free book & I truly enjoyed reading it.

Katrina Cope Hi Tony,

Sorry for the delay. I only just saw your comment. I am sorry to hear of your troubled childhood. My heart truly does reach out for troubled children. This is why I brought this into my book. I wish a lucky break would be available to these children, or children with history like yours.
I tried to cover many 'issues' in this book (in a child friendly manner), as children are dealing with many of these, whether parents like it or not.
It is a 'young adult' book, or as I like to say young at heart. I have 3 children also and love to read the books from their favourite authors.
I am glad you enjoyed it and if you ever get the time, I would love you to rate it. You don't have to add much description.

Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it. It is much appreciated.

Katrina

Thank you Tony :)

Louise White What I liked best about Katrina's book was that it highlighted the tenacity of the young in this amazing adventure. It also increased my awareness of the plight of children in real life.(Tony is an inspiration with his criminal justice and counselling qualifications!) It is encouraging that people like Tony can help others in a practical way, and creative writers can increase awareness and offer an escapism among other things.
