Sam quickly rushed to get dressed. She had to get to school, Seahaven High School. "I'm going to be late!" She rushed around. Then she leaped downstairs, took a piece of toast and ran to school.

Sam was tired. She walked home, since it was too late for her to get back to school. The last class would end in twenty minutes. She sneaked inside and tip toed upstairs hoping to not alert her dad. She didn't know whether or not he was home, but she didn't want to take any chances. If she looked him in the eye, he's figure out what was going on, because her dad could mind-read and use telepathy. It turned out he wasn't home. She closed the door to her room. Then she laid on her bed, reflecting over the day's events and her actions.

Sam decided to check if the girl was alright.
