Claire__ I WOULD GIVE THIS BOOK 3 STARS

I finished reading the book Shadowland "the immortals" series (third book) about a week ago and it was good but not great compared to the first one. (don't worry I wont wright any spoilers) In the book the main character Ever Bloom lost her whole family to a car crash and she survived. Only Ever didn't have a near death experience like the nurses thought.... she actually died and came back. (no not as a ghost... that would have been cool though) The other main character, Damen, has secrets nobody knows.
During the book they make enemies, make mistakes, solve them (especially Ever, over and over and over) so its kind of expected what will happen before actually does but the fact that she does make mistakes makes the books seem more life like.
I would recomend this book. Ps don't skip to the third. There would be so much that didn't make sense in the rest of them. Has anybody else read any of the immortals series? What did you think of them?

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood Yeah I've read 1- 4 and I'm woriking on the 5th one right now....it's a little boring though exciealy after what happened in the 4th one.

Nikita I like this series. Yes, it has it's slow moments but I like the story, setting and the characters. Now the books are not my top favorite but it's a good read. Let me put it this way, I would rather read this than Twilight.

Claire__ Im working on #4 about to finish i will keep reading the series but the whole think is kind of getting old. I do like the books and the plot line and the characters and all but its like the whole book is a pattern. Ever messes up. Damen is like "i forgive you" over and over and over....

Cassie 'The Thinker Go Go Go Go' Mis. Roben Goodfellow'\Isabelle Lightwood I know at one point in one of them I was like 'how in the world can you just forgive her like that?"

Claire__ yep. like the whole roman-jude thing it like "oh ok u can like other boys too! even though were dating..."

April I'm going to re-read this series soon because its been a few years since I've read them and I still have to read the 6th one. From what I remember my favourite was the first one, though they were all enjoyable reads. I read them first when I was 14 or 15 so it's been a long time since I've read them, so I'm going to read them again. :)

Claire__ Yep! there good books and I love most of the characters. I am yet to read #5 and #6 i am on 4 right now and i like them mainly. I can almost always guess what will happen before it actually does though.

As a whole it was a pretty decent series. I really enjoyed it. The characters are relatable, though I didn't like how whinny the heroine was. Don't get me wrong I really liked the series but I didn't like the whole constantly pitying and blaming herself in the first book. I have to say what kept me going on reading these was mainly Roman. I have this thing for villains. So, of course the second book was my favorite. I liked them all though. The whininess is the only thing that annoyed me, other wise it was a magical read. For those who haven't finished them, I advise you to. The fifth book made me tear up for reasons I wont share since I would ruin it and the sixth book in some ways you will like it because everything unfolds. Some ways you will hate it depending on how you feel about....well never mind. Just read them.

I've finished the entire series and loved them. It took me over a year to finish the last book because I couldn't quite bring myself to knowing that it would all be over after I'd finished reading this one book. xx

You thought Ever was whiny? Really? I never thought that about her to be honest. I liked her charecter, admitedly there are thing I didn't agree with her doing but over-all she was a good charecter xx
