Does anyone know how to make a thread? Can you please tell me how?

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay so to make a thread there are different ways
One way, is to click on the folder you'd like to make the thread in. It will show all the threads which are in the folder and theres a button that says 'new topic' or something like that. Click on it and.......make ze thread

readeraz (zoethereader) | 493 comments Ok so I have this friend and we have been really good friends since 5th grade. This year I noticed that we were growing apart and she was changing, a lot. She started being careless and defiant. She thought that acting like this was funny and endearing, but to me it was the opposite. These are my two examples:

-On Halloween I stayed home and decided to just do homework, eat candy and chill. Around 9:40 she showed up at my house with 2 other friends and they were banging on my house door asking me to open up. When I finally did they all came in and I noticed they had a large amount of candy. It turns out that when they were trick-or-treating, if they saw a sign that said "please take one" that would take ALL the candy, and the bowl too. I was really disappointed in this stupid thing they did. She told me it was funny and stuff but I am still kinda irritated.

- Ok so this happened last night. My friend face-timed me to tell me that she also noticed we were growing apart. I gave her a reassuring speech and we started talking like we used too. A little while later when we were still face-timing I noticed she was drinking some yellow-ish liquid from a bottle. I asked her what it was and she showed me. It was beer. She said and I quote "Yah its just a sh*tty beer I stole from my parents."

Tia Jenkins (tia_jenkins) There's really not much you can do Zoe. I know that she was once a good friend but if she chooses to act that way then that's her choice and you can either choose to still be her friend even though she acts that way or I've her am ultimatum telling her that if she keeps doing these things then you won't be her friend anymore.

readeraz (zoethereader) | 493 comments I am really worried because we are both 13!!! I wanted to go to her house knock that beer out of her hand and yell "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?!"

There are still parts of her that I recognize, but the rest of her is changed. And I don't like this change

message 15: by Tia (new)

Tia Jenkins (tia_jenkins) Then you should tell her that. Try talking some sense in her because you're right! That is too young to be doing anything like that.

readeraz (zoethereader) | 493 comments I really agree. She is still the girl I know though, she still makes cheesy comments, and is bright and funny. She thinks that what she did wasn't that bad, and she probably didn't think that I really cared that much. But I don't want her to get herself into a bad situation. I just am so conflicted about what I should do: Should I tell my parents, or keep it to myself?

message 17: by Tia (new)

Tia Jenkins (tia_jenkins) That's the hard part. Maybe try talking to her first and share your concerns and then if she keeps doing it you should go to your parents because doing things like that can and will get her into situations that could hurt her.

Zoe you may try to talk to her calmly, do not try to force your opinion on her. Just try to convince her in an appropriate way but if she doesn't stop what she is doing tell her you will not tolerate her behavior and not be her friend anymore. If she really loves you she may stop for you and if she doesn't just let it go, I know it would hurt, but find friends who act their age and do not try to be like her. Good luck:)

And if she keeps on drinking heavily, I advice you to tell her parents and let them promise not to tell her, just lock the beer away. It would be for her own good.

readeraz (zoethereader) | 493 comments Ok, thanks guys! I honestly didn't know who I could talk to. I definitely didn't want to tell my parents, and make it a big deal. I know all of you guys are older and have common sense! and I really appreciate the time you guys took to help me out. It really means a lot. <3

She may be the same but not for long if she keeps drinking. So I would rather for you to tell your parents.
