Rafael Circassia is a country divided in 3 republics. So the real Circassia no longer exists today.
Nowadays there is Adygea, Karachai-Cherkessia and Kabardino-Balkaria.
This video shows the fragmentation of the country.

Books about Circassia are few.
"Historically, Circassians lacked a formal written language. The current Circassian alphabet system was designed around 1918 or so. Accordingly, prior to this time, the vast majority of historical accounts referencing Circassians were written by foreigners. There are two notable exceptions. Khan-Gheri and Shora Nogma both write first-person historical accounts of Circassians. Both were Circassian (Khan-Gheri may not have been ethnically Circassian, but he lived among the Circassians), and both wrote in Russian circa mid-1800s. Post 1920's, Circassians slowly began to write their own histories, but under Bolshevik and Soviet rule, and therefore with typically Soviet / anti-Imperial ideology. Since 1991, there has been a small flood of historical accounts of the Circassians written by ethnic Circassians. These range from amateur authors who are well-intentioned, but not academically rooted, to full-blown academically vetted books. These are written typically in Russian and sometimes in English. There have also been at least two notable English-language historical accounts written by foreigners in the English language. These include The 'Circassian Genocide' by Walter Richmond and 'Let Our Fame be Great' by Oliver Bullough."
