Paranormal Creatures discussion

I am very curious as to everyone's definitions because some people include aliens or zombies and things like that in this genre so what is paranormal really?

A quick google definition reveals "paranormal" as something beyond normal scientific understanding. Well, by that reasoning it would seem that lots of things are paranormal as science definitely has its limits. At any rate, angels and demons would be my idea of paranormal. Not a believer in aliens or zombies although they do sometimes make for good books / movies.
