So true that MY LIFE NEXT DOOR is awesome. And she has a new one coming next year. Hurrah! Also, TWO BOYS KISSING just blew my doors off.
I'm reading Tom McNeal's new book, FAR FAR AWAY, which is a finalist for the 2013 NBA. It's a perfect book for a group reading because it will satisfy a broad range of readers -- it combines contemporary with the old-fashioned fairy tale (think Grimm Brothers) behind a stunning narrative voice who reminds me of Death in The Book Thief or the narrator of Gaiman's The Graveyard Book. Top notch in every way.
I've read this recently, it was amazing!
I wish she would make a series out of this, it's awesome!
This one was absolutely fantastic, I made all my friends and family read it, it was a success for everyone! Anyone who hasn't, please read it, you won't regret it!

Also a little reminder to everyone. This is not where you vote. This is where you make suggestions for the poll. Suggestions will close November 17th!
Don't forget to suggest something for the Series suggestion and Theme suggestion.
The suggestions also can't be something we've already read and they have to be young adult because we are a young adult group! To see what we've read and haven't read go to the books we've read topic. If you are new I strongly suggest this!
