A huge mall in Brunswick

Nathaniel and Laufeia had parked in the mall parking lot. He got out slowly, scared of all the people walking around. He hesitantly got out and looked at her.

"It's alright baby their all shopping like us too." She held his hand tightly afraid of losing him again. She took him in gymborees to pick out clothes and hoped he would like their styles if not she'd go somewhere else. "You like anything?"

He stayed close to her as they entered the store. Nathaniel bit his lip a little, asking what some of the shirts said before picking out a couple shirts and pants.

Laufeia almost ripped a shirt when she grabbed it because it was so adorable. It was the cutest thing. It was a light blue shirt that said in the front "I can be mommy's helper..." and on the back it said "But no promises that I won't cause trouble." She was definitely buying it and she looked at the few shirts and pants Nathaniel picked out. "Get as much as you want and then we'll find you two hoodies and a winter jacket."

Nathaniel looked around, finding another hoodie with words on the back. He shrugged and put with the clothes on his arm, grabbing another hoodie and looking at Laufeia. "Winter coat?"

Laufeia laughed and shook her head, "No its bigger usually." She picked up a winter jacket just his size that came with mittens and it was cool because the jacket had a black lining that glowed in the dark and so did the zipper. "You want this one?"

He looked at it and felt it. "Is it suppose to be huge?" He asked, unzipping it to see inside.

"Sweety it keeps you warm when it snows. It snows alot here and I don't want you sick." She smiled at him and put her hand through his hair.

He put the coat on and sighed. "But it doesn't feel right," he said. "Is that because it's not snowing?" He asked, slipping it off.

"Yes just give it another month or two and it will." She smiled and took all the clothes to the cashier and waited as the cashier swiped each of the clothes and put them in bags.

Nathaniel watched intently and grabbed some of the bags. "Where are we going next?" He asked, smiling.

"Let's go to the lego store. You can build something there and I'm sure they have many building kits you can buy." She swiped her card to pay for the. two hundred and fifty dollars worth of clothes she bought for him and grabbed her purse before they left the store.

Nathaniel carried the bag to the Lego store an went wide eyed. It was full of color and children along with boxes along the walls of the store. He went inside and looked at a table with the blocks. He started building with them.

"There's many lego sets in here to build with and buy. Have fun because your still young." Laufeia set the bags down and looked around.

Nathaniel grinned and started building and looking at all of the sets. He watched on with a castle and looked at it in awe.

"It's amazing huh now go pick out a few kits you want to build at home." Laufeia said

He pointed to one of the kits, bouncing in excitement.

Laufeia let him grab all the kits he wanted and bought them as well. After leaving the lego shop she decided she would take him to get some icecream since he never had had any then they could go to the park at home and then go out to eat before bed. "You want some icecream just two stores away? You can get three scoops if you want."

Nathaniel held the clothes bag because the other was too heavy for him to lift. He shrugged at her question. "Sure, but what is it?" He asked, softly.

"It's yummy sweetness that might give you a brain freeze and you might get cold, but it's good." Laufeia tried to assure.

He smiled. "It sounds good," he said, walking inside. "What about the colors?"

"There's all types and you can get any you want." Laufeia grabbed his hand and walked in the icecream shop. "See there's icecream and toppings like sprinkles, cherries, fudge, and much more."

He went wide eyed and asked for vanilla, sprinkles, and a cherry.

Laufeia smiled and nodded for the cashier to get what he wanted. She felt it was like his birthday and she wanted him to the be the happiest ever. "I'll have a butter pecan with a cherry on top please, and two scoops in a cup." The cashier nodded and got both icecream cups for the two.

She walks in the mall and remembers all the memories with her friends here. She remember when she was in high school how her and her friends used to buy all the trendy clothes.

Jesse wandered in behind her and stood beside Angelina watching her as she stood there " so what shop do you want to go to?" He asled

She looked up and said. "I would to go to Pacsun" PacSun was on one of the place that her friends went too.

"Then lets go" he said taking her hand and walking towards the store

Nathaniel grinned as he was handed his ice cream. He tried to take a bite and covered his mouth, his teeth hurting. He frowned a bit and licked it.

Laufeia smiled and set the shopping bags down at a table and smiled at him. "It's delicious ice cream sweetheart." Laufeia sat down at the table with Nathaniel across from her and slowly ate her ice cream so she wouldn't get a brain freeze.

Nathaniel ate his quickly and soon rubbed his temples, slowly eating his ice cream again. He gave a small smile at how good it tasted.

As she walked in the store she saw a couple of things she might like and grab them to try them on.

Laufeia smiled as she finished her ice cream and took the trash to the garbage. She grabbed the shopping bags and bent down to look at Nathaniel, "Are you okay?" She was concerned that maybe he was hurt.

Jesse stood there watching her patiently as she picked out clothing I can't even begin to imagine her in some of those he thought as he stood there

She try not to hear that by she heard that thought. She left it and get to the dressing room. She came out with one outfit on.

Nathaniel nodded and smiled. "I think it's just a simple brain freeze you told me about. It's alright, I've felt worse," he said softly and ate the the last few bites slowly.

She blushed. "You really think so" she said looking at the outfit in the minor. "You don't think it looks weird on me" she said questioning.

Laufeia smiled and stood up as she grabbed his hand and started walking out to the front door of the mall. She was ready to take him somewhere to eat so they could talk, but she was afraid a little about it.

Nathaniel tossed his finished ice cream out and followed after her slowly, still taking everything in. He smiled a bit, it was a lot better than the institution.

Laufeia held his hand and walked out to the mustang with them. "Let's go out to eat and help me put all these bags in the trunk." She opened the trunk and started putting the bags in the trunk.

Nathaniel nodded and helped put some of the bags into the trunk, then got into his seat in the car. He looked at her once she had gotten in. "Didn't we just eat?"

"You really think so?" She looked again. "Yeah your right I like it" she Get back to the changing room and changed back to her regular clothes. Wait she came out she said to Jesse to come over there.

Laufeia put her soft hand through his silky hair and nodded. "We ate almost three hours ago and that was just ice cream a few minutes ago. It's now three and by the time we get to town it will be about four thirty."

He shook his head slightly and patted down his hair. "Oh, okay," Nathaniel said quietly. "What are we going to do until we get to town?"
