Lorie Berger Wow! Just finished and I love that Remy's bipolar was a big part of this book. The way he lived on his terms without meds and depended on a good diet and exercise to help him through his black moods. Heart breaking and challenging emotionally to find out his parents involvement in the making of his mental issues. The fact that he does not think he's good enough for Brooke or to have a family and to not realize that he has a family in those that take care of him. You just gotta love him. Brooke who loves Remy but has to learn how to be strong in her love to get him through his dark times. She is in a constant battle with her feelings of jelousy.

~*~Princess Nya Vasiliev~*~ Hated this book. Honestly, if ur an author looking to extend a series on the same characters, then come up with an actual plot & not a gross extension of more of the same. Brooke's constant insecurity/whining was not only unoriginal, it totally ruined this book. We needed Remy's POV here. Badly. A real plot (not a lame revisit of a subplot concerning her sister) but a real/new plot, with growth in the characters being the name of the game.

I loved book 1. And after reading book 2, I think this should have never been made into a series. There were so many avenues that Ms Evans could have taken with this book concerning Remy & Brooke. but she chose the easiest, most common & irritating route. And the fact that the 3rd book "Remy" is just a recap of what we already know from book 1, just solidifies my point that this should have never been made into a series.

Totally agree with you. I only read just over half the book and it bored the shit out of me :( it's one of 3 books iv spent waiting most of this year to come out and it turned out to be a total let down. Not impressed!

Mary Bess I liked this way better then REMY

Everything you said is right on point!!! I too enjoyed Real, but have no plans to read Remy...I'm on the fence with continuing with the series with the other books about Brooke's friends too.

Ok.. ur talkin about the 3rd book "Remy" though. We're speakin mainly about the 2nd book "Mine" book 2, was done in Brooke's POV again. "Remy" (the book I refuse to read) was done in Remy's POV, yes, but after reading book 2 & being highly disappointed with it, I can't reconcile payin that much money for a "re-cap book" of book 3, just cos it's in his POV.

Book 2 was horrible, IMO. It bombed. I think book 1 was awesome & should have been left as just a standalone novel. A series should not have been born from it.

I'm ok with a series but I didn't need more Remy and Brooke. After Real. Katy Evans introduced us to a plethora of secondary characters (Riley, Pete, Nora, Pandora, and Melanie) that she could have easily done their stories instead of the first 3 about Remy and Brooke. So many New Adult authors are doing the alternate POV books...I have too many books on my TBR; I have no time to read the same book twice just from another POV...especially not when it costs as much or more than original book.

Lorie Berger I would totally love to see Katy write based on the secondary characters . There is a whole lot of potential for these characters and their stories.

Lisa Hyatt There are so many potential threads to this series. Would love to see some of the other characters get their HEA, and check in on Remy and brooke
