A Parallel Universe discussion

A small town in Northern Idaho. It is located between Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Couer d'Alene National Forest. The Forest nearby is nicknamed "Silver Meadow Forest" because a couple miles into the forest, but still nearby town, lies the Meadow. Deeper still lies a small, almost unnoticeable waterfall that unless one knows what one is looking for, one can never find. Behind this waterfall is a hidden underground pathway that leads to an almost forgotten portal to Terca Lumireis. Within the Forest lives an Elven Clan who lives harmoniously with nature. Although the majority remains in the Forest, quite a few mingles with humans in the Silver Meadow Town.

The WaterFall

Ami stood in a silver forest. Well, white since the flowers along in the trail was snow white. It was strange, she had never seen a forest as, well, plain as this. The forests back home either had colorful plants or fruits; and the trees would have patterns. Then again, this one was silver.

((It's not exactly "silver" though..))

A gentle breeze rustled through the Silver Meadow, stirring the leaves and grass as it passed by. Adelheid sighed as it brushes along her loose hair. Strands of hair fluttered every which way before settling down as the wind died. Adelheid focused her attention back to her work. She had been sitting beneath a shady tree - for it was quite sunny today - sketching out the beautiful pair of deer resting against a medium-sized bush.

((of course! This is just a small town though, but I originally wanted to focus more on the Forest an Lake area instead. ^^' That's where the Forest Elves all live. Or rather, most. hehe.))

((Also, if you have any ideas or suggestions for this place, please do tell. (: ))

((Perhaps this is a place for magical creatures to rest. Everything is peaceful. But there could be a rumble within the Forest Elves))

She saw something. It was..... strange but compared to what she's seen, it wasn't. They were people, weren't they? But did the humans here in this world have pointy ears? Ami thought the chocolate cake she'd eaten at Lunch was finally making her go crazy. Their clothes blend with their forest surroundings. She was amazed at their stealth; moving in between everything like they had already solved the maze.

((I was thinking just mainly the Forest Elves- since that's part of my character's heritage. They are, more or less, her people. ^^'
Oh, is Ami in the forest by any chance? Or in town? Because a portion of the people who live in town are hybrids, and the full-blooded elves all know how to put on an illusion to appear "normal."))

((She's in the forest. Ami is part Fairy so..... Anyways, it's cool that the Elves can create illusions. But magic users can see through that))

Keeping her distance, she ran after the creatures in green. It was sunny, yes, but the air was cool in the forest. She quickly jump on top of a brown branch when one of the creatures stopped and looked back; their eyes keen. Holding her breath, she thinks of a quick spell. In a blink of an eye, she is gone.

((That makes more sense. That's cool that she's a fae though. ^^ I was just wondering how she was able to see them, but thanks for the clarity. By the way, what's she doing in Idaho?))
