Hello, everyone!

For the first time ever, I've entered a writing contest. I entered the Flash Fiction 40 Contest on the Editor Unleashed forums. It was new and different for me and I'm hoping to learn a lot.

Voting is officially open now. The contest forum is password protected; only members may view and rate the stories. Membership is free and very painless. :o) There are some great stories in the contest. I encourage everyone to read and vote on as many stories as they can. I'm so excited! If you arrange the stories in order of ranking, highest to lowest, mine's on pg 3 of 11! Woo-hoo!

I seriously LOL'd at that, Paul. It's a five star rating system so you can vote for whoever and how many you want. And if you think mine is worth less than five, that's ok, too. :o)

I think voting is done--at least, it's supposed to be. Last I checked I was #50 out of 280 according to member rating. I think that's pretty darn good for my very first flash fiction piece...now I can only hope the final judges like it, too...
