Music for Torching
question
ending
What an eerie fantastic sad novel. I read it ten years ago and still remember how pathetic the parents were. I loved the ending, in that it was left up to one's interpretation. I think good books do that--leave room for the reader to dwell on what may or may not have happened. It reminds me of The Sopranos ending. Leaves us with something to think about versus spelling it all out on the page.
