Good afternoon, everyone! It's hard to believe that it's time to do the nominations for January's Book of the Month!

Remember to check out the guidelines under the "Book of the Month Reading" section if you're not familiar with them, and to check out the shelves for 2011, 2012 and 2013 on our group bookshelf if it's something you're not sure if we've read as a group or not.

If you need help finding any of those things, just let me know!

In January we will be discussing...

While We're Far Apart by Lynn Austin

and

The Reluctant Prophet by Nancy Rue

Two very different reads, which I think is great! Thank you to everyone for nominating, and if yours nomination didn't get picked, make sure you nominate again in February! :)

Looking forward to reading them. I have While We're Far Apart on my kindle. This will start me off on paring down kindle, piles and TBR!

I loved While We're Far Apart & will probably read it again. Also looking forward to the other one.

Ooh, I have both of these books on my Kindle and I've really enjoyed both these authors in the past. I'll see if I can squeeze them both in next month :)

Just put The Reluctant Prophet on hold at the library!

My copies of both of these books came in at the library today. Don't know if I will read and discuss them with all of you because they are almost five hundred page each. I have so many other books I want to read that would take so much less time. Sorry I cannot join the discussion. I will try to participate in the others for next year, though.

Natalie there's no pressure to participate in both or either of them.

I'm going to definitely read The Reluctant Prophet and will try to read While We're Far Apart since it's been on my to-read list a while but we'll see :)
