I've been wanting to read Fast Food Nation: The Dark Side of the All-American Meal and Waiter Rant: Thanks for the Tip-Confessions of a Cynical Waiter. Both appear on the Food-Related Non-Fiction list. Here is hoping I can get one from the library.
can I get Racing Weight: How to Get Lean for Peak Performance approved - its about eating optimally for performance
Would Waiter Rant: Thanks for the Tip-Confessions of a Cynical Waiter work? It is on the Food-Related Non-Fiction list but isn't focused so much on preparation as on serving food.If not, my backup is Fast Food Nation: The Dark Side of the All-American Meal.

It is on the Food-Related Non-Fiction list but isn't focused so much on preparation as on serving food."It still relates to people's relationship with food, so Waiter Rant: Thanks for the Tip-Confessions of a Cynical Waiter. So will Fast Food Nation: The Dark Side of the All-American Meal (which was fantastic, by the way).

The description of the book says it explores "our love/hate relationship with food." So, yes, that works.
