This is a wild theory that i came up with about that perplexing comment janus borig made while dieing.'i know who the light bringer is'.it is kip of course.No doubt there.the index gives only the deeds that marks the light bringer.not the meaning or why actually he is called light bringer.There are 3 things that ticked me off.
1. tag line of series:Every shadow hides a secret.
2.The Mirror,the title of janus borig refers to the the life captured in the cards.As in real life mirror casts an imperfect(Think about lateral inversion produced by your pocket mirror)magei,the cards created by The Mirror is imperfect.it captures a moment or life upto one precise moment.its not complete truth.
3.But kip has shown a remarkable affinity towards the cards.He has so aligned to the cards that he can slip time streams.in the case of that broken eye assasin kip was so deep inside him that real assasin felt kips presence.(he slips into present).andross guile mentioned that he assented tomaking of his card becoz it reveals his life upto that point.but kip slips into his future fatal meeting with son in the ship.in samila sayeh's case he could identify that her feelings towards her lover vanished after becoming a wight.so he can feel that past also strongly.

kip's strong affinity could only be the reason why miiror could reach such a decision.but how a quaint affinity in card makes him a light bringer?Becoz kip can throw light on the secrets,the imperfections in cards created by the mirror.mirror's new desk consists of scores of new or unknown players may be even the charactors beyond ever dark gates.Eventually kip may reveal all the truth behind drafting,orholam,colors &everdark gates .He throws light on all secrets and all lies hidden in chromera.that is why he is light bringer.

This goes with kips character also.He has no head for strategy or numbers.but he is witty and honest.he has no finesse when it comes to combat and is always an almost..so this is probably the only way he get to be the light bringer.what think you?
