I am hoping to go but I will be pretty pregnant by then so I have to see how I feel! Only a 3 or so hour drive so I can decide closer to then.
LOL, well my doctor said I can go as long as I'm not having any problems, but yeah carrying books will be awful! I wonder if I can get a medical note to use a rolling bag or something. If not I'll just take books I really want and skip the rest.
:P Let me know if you all know anyone who might need a cheap hotel. If we meet up sometime and you need me to carry, I can Rebecca...it would be a shame to miss some @_@
by the way, for anyone who has gone to MW before, is it important to register in advance for the exhibits-only pass? Does it ever actually sell out? I would prefer to buy on site so I am not out the money if I medically can't go, but since it's only $50 I'll take the risk if it usually sells out.
I thought it was $35? I think you *can* buy it onsite...I did at TLA, but I definitely don't want to steer you wrong
I think you can even register the week of. I don't believe they sell out. I would go to twitter and ask.

As for the exhibits pass, I've bought on site before and never had any problems.
Thanks! I am going to ask my doctor to write a note then and hopefully it will work. I thought it was $50 but maybe I'm wrong on the price? I just remember it wasn't that expensive...

And registration is $35 now.
I just want to put this out there, I went to ALA in Chicago, and it was impossible to move in the aisles because there is not signing area like BEA, but instead all signings are done in booth, and then people are waiting on line and if aisle has two signings, its impossible to move. I'm not sure how its going to be in Philly, but just be aware.
I guess it depends on the convention center it's at? I feel like I've seen pictures with an actual signing area but I don't remember which cities those were.
Lindsay wrote: "dangggg I will miss you guys!!! have a blast!"But I hear you WILL be there in book form! I'll snap pics of The Murder Complex on the floor if I don't get trampled trying to grab one! :D
well I booked my hotel I should definitely be there unless anything changes in the next couple weeks, but so far I have zero problems so I should be able to go.
LOL do you have Twitter? I can tweet you where I'll be and then you can just look for the one who is very pregnant!
