As usual, I am working on several projects at once. I've got a memory quilt to sash (for a client) on the sewing table, and basket handles to prep for a trip so I can have something to work on. Then I have a king size French roses all ready to be put together. If I could just stop reading for a bit, I might be able to get some sewing done. I've tried audio books, but I find myself stopping and listening to the narrator, so that doesn't work. Besides there is something about seeing and comprehending that word on the page for me that is special!

At any rate, I have 3 new projects to work on. One is called Simple Elegance by Joan Davis. I think she must be Geisha Designs. It really is a pretty piece; although, mine isn't anywhere close to being oriental. I did work on it this afternoon and will work on it again in a bit. I almost have the main part of the top done.
I have 2 other pieces I started at camp. One is called Sparkler Star by Mary Sue Suit. I really like Mary Sue, so I try to take any classes she teaches. I also started another of Joan Davis' called Jungle Fever. The last is pretty simple, so I'll probably work on it next.
I must say it's nice to be back at the sewing machine.
