Yes i know that Edward is perfect and wonderful and all that. It would be a terrible shame if they didn't make it. That would be sad, truly it would. But Bella really needs Jacob much more. Jacob is warm, Edward is cold. Jacob is much more humanly flawed true, but stone cold perfection isn't all its cracked up to be.

As a guy reading these books, i instantly fell in love with Bella. She is beautiful, funny, and all her clumsy imperfections only make her a thousand times more attractive. (well as attractive as a fictional character can get) I, in the depths of my heart don't want her to become a vampire! Vampires are awesome and all, but if Bella becomes a vampire, she will become an ice cold, stone solid beauty. She will not be warm. She will not be charmingly flawed. she will not be clumsy. she will not be Bella! If she gets with Edward, vampire is the only option for her future!

Another argument for Jacob.
Jacob might not be as wonderful as Edward in a great many ways. But he is greater in some very important ones. Jacob is Bella's "sun." He lifted her from her depression when no one else could. He is Bella's greatest friend, and he would stand by her no matter what. Sacrifice everything for her. Who cares if he is not as beautiful as Edward? He is Native American and thats cool. Besides Werewolves are awesome.

A quick not on Bella's ultimate happiness.
If Bella ends up with Jacob, she wont have to give up the sun she loves so much. (I can relate to that) She wont have to give up her family, and she can have a family of her own. She cant have any of that with Edward.
Still I will feel bad for Edward and and Alice and Emmit but Jacob is worth it.

Okay, personally I think she should pick Edward! I actually like Jacob, but he's not right for her. They make great friends and all, but thats it. Edward is perfect for her! And I dont think that being ice cold is bad. I kind of understand what Josh is saying though, about Bella becoming a vampire. I actually dont want her to be one. She wont be the same Bella. If only there was a way for her to stay with Edward and not become a vampire. But I think her becoming a vampire is worth it if she gets to stay with Edward forever!!!!

Yes kamber ive read Eclipse and i completely agreewith Josh and Tawny. and sam she probably wouldnt have killed herself cuz Jacob would stay with her every hour just to show how much he loves her and how did it save her life? and yes the story would collapse Bella is the narrarator and she meakes the story so real and vivid she would completely change if she became a vampire. Seline u are delusional! Did u read New Moon? Even weeks after Jacob became a wolf, he wouldnt even talk to her! He sent her right back into depression again! And obviously he doesnt love her enough if he had the nerve to say that he would rather see her dead than a vampire!!! But..i actually agree with u on one part..the story wouldnt be very good if she became a vampire. But, if she ended up with Jacob, the story would collapse. Majorly. And it may be boring to live forever if you look at it that way, but I look at it this way...being able to be with the one person you love more anything in the world for the rest of your life. If you loved a person beyond description, why would it be not be good to be with this person forver?
And knowing you had forever to expand your education, explore all the different places of the world, and experience things you would never get to. To see the world differently, and with the person you love. Doesnt sound like a very boring future to me.

Kamber's right! Bella is so not like that! She already agreed to marry him! And really, Stephenie Meyer is a great writer, but trust me, she won't make Bella end up with Jabob. She's going to give her fans what they want. And they want Edward.

Not all of her fans want Edward! I don't! Besides all the fans who do want Edward just don't know what they really want. Jacob deserves Bella more than Edward ever could.

And, if Stephenie Meyer gives her fans exactly what they want (i.e. Bella and Edward get married and live happily ever after) then the books will become nothing more than candy in the literary world. For a book to be deep and meaningful, it has to be realistic on an emotional level. It has to be happy, sad, loving, hateful, pleasurable and agonizing. If there is no emotional sacrifice for the characters and so in turn for the readers who love them, then the books will have no depth, no meaning on a personal level. People will read the books and say "Oh, that was such a good book!" But then they will forget all about them and go on with their lives because the book will be nothing more than brain candy. That satisfies for a while, but its not good enough for readers to thrive on. For those of you who are so in love with Edward, there is no emotional sacrifice for you if they end up together. When all is said and done, the books wont mean so much to you. For those of us who are cheering for Jacob, for me at least, there will be emotional sacrifice. I love the Cullens. I think Edward is awesome. It will be sad if Bella doesn't choose Edward. But the right choice is still Jacob!

No, I understood the whole thing, but I don't agree. At all. She has had plenty emotional sacrafices!!! She won't end up with Jacob, she is getting married! He's not a better choice. I'm sorry but everyone here (except Seline) agree's with me! You don't have any idea what you're talking about. Edward is better, thats who she's marrying, the end. I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of twists and action and whatever in the next book, but none if it will involve Bella leaving Edward for Jacob.

Ya, you are probably right. Bella probably will end up with Edward. But that will really suck. For me, Jacob is the character I identify with most. I hope it will be him and Bella but it probably wont be. But you have got to admit that I had some pretty good arguments.

ok sam i dont think you are the writer of the series and Josh is right books are supposed to be exciting and unpredictable. I HAVE read the deleted chapters! What are you talking about!? This is what I think will happen: Bella will become a vampire, she marries edward, but she kills a person and runaways and runs into jacob, they don't get into a relationship but they become friends. then edward finds her again :)

Josh, you did have good arguments, I will admit that. About Seline, the book wouldnt be boring if she ended up with Edward! There's no way to get it through your thick skull, but thats the truth. If Stephenie Meyer is such a good writer, then she would be able to have Bella end up with Edward and still make it a great story. And Kamber, I think you might be right about what happens in the next book. That would be pretty interesting.

No one said Jacob would be the worst person...hey he's better than Mike Newton! But...Edward is better for her, he would kill himself if she died just to be with her, he left her because he cared about her ultimate safety (even tho it hurt him too), and it would be easier on her to become a vampire. She wouldnt be like Jacob, she cant just turn into a wearwolf! But if she turns into a vampire, there is no danger to her at all! Imagine any time Jacob even starts to lose his temper, he could kill her!!!! And obviously, they dont always get along. Sooo..it is safer, and Bella would be happier, if she was with Edward. But dont get me wrong...Jacob is a great friend (most of the time) and I want it to stay that way.

k JAcobs soul mate is Bella!!! he may even have imprinted on her without anyone's knowlage. if she choses Edward she loses way more than if she chose jacob if she chose edward she would have to lose her mortality, the sun , family and friends.
