Story:

Today is the premium screening for the brand new game Doomsday. It's a space themed game with a huge twist: You're actually living the game. The game is very difficult, but you're rewarded well for completing it. There's just one catch: If you die, you never respawn .

Characters:

Just to note: The classes only take effect upon entering the game.

Game: After a 10 more minutes, the group arrived at the Sony headquarters.

Felix: This place is huge.

Reap: It's not that special.

Matt: finally i can get my revenge

Reap: (gets off the bus)

Matt: were here

Matt: so, we play the game

Reap: "They better not figure my secret or these games will get interesting."

Matt: "they haven't seen anything like me"

Background character: Worker: welcome! I guess you're here for the screening?

Felix: yep

Matt: WE WANT TO PLAY DOOMSDAY

Background character: Worker: okay then, right this way

Reap: Let's make the tour short.

Matt: what do we have to do in the screening?

Background character: Worker: (leads them into room with tons of weird platforms) stand on one of the platforms. Scientists will be there to assist you shortly

Matt: i didn't know we had to move!

Background character: Worker: Disembodied voice will explain the rest.

((sorry, but you didn't give a name, so I'll just be referring to you as disembodied voice))

Game: Everyone followed Disembodied voice's instructions. In minutes, everyone was ready to enter the game.

Matt: woo lets go
"i won't show them any mercy"

Reap: "Those people better be careful."

Matt: "i won't die here. they'll never know what hit em"

Reap: What's taking so long?

Felix: "Something feels wrong"

Matt: wake me up when we get to go to the game
(falls asleep)

Matt: (wakes up)
yah, this is strange

Game: a worker flips the switch. As the players are being teleported in, one of the mechanisms burst, sending sparks flying.

Matt: gah, just please don't tell me we have to stop the malfunction in the game

Reap: "Not again." (he pops up in the game missing a leg)

~Villager~ Thank you for coming! our humble space village has been taken over by these evil bug creatures! Please help us!

((Note: Any Upgrade class can voice random video game characters like this one)

Matt: "i can tell from reap's silence that he is hiding something"

~Villager~ Wait, I thought there was one more coming. I believe his name was Felix.

Matt: DEMONS RAGE
(attacks bug with combo)
woah, i can see their HP bar. it has a lot left

Game: Felix was nowhere to be found

Matt: god, these bugs are hard
HEY, could any of you help me fight

~Villager~ If you need me.. I'll be in my locked storm shelter (runs away)

Matt: god.
hey reap, could you help?
(slashes bugs)
