Let me put an excerpt i made up on the spot.

Sam was lying on the bed. Doctors rushing in and out.
Katie was outside, trying her hardest to be patient.
Vitals stabilize, and a doctor came to meet Katie. "You can see him now." The doctor tried his best to smile, but it was a weak one. Katie ran to Sam's room and rushed by his side.
"Oh my, are you okay?" Tears touching the edge of her eyes.
Sam let go a chuckle, "Yes, the doctors said I'll be fine." He couldn't believe he just lied to her. The doctors told him the complete opposite. Sam reached and grabbed her hand with a weak, pathetic, attempt. "I want you to know something," A pause.
"What, Sam, what do you want me to know?!"
Sam took a deep labored breath. "I... I love you, and cannot lie to you. The doctor says I will die. Soon."
Tears streaked Katie's cheeks. "No Sam! I love you too! I need you Sam!"
Sam smiled and chuckled again. "Heh, You'll e fine Kat. I know that. And that's all i need to know."
Katie smiled and cried. She leaned in and kissed him. The deepest kiss Sam ever felt. Katie pulled away and put her face in her hands. Sam face turned grim. Sam grabbed her hand and she looked up. "I love you Katie." And took his last breath. Telling the one he absolutely truly loved, that he cared the most for her.

At the funeral the pastor stood and gave a few words. "Sam was a good, honest, passionate, fun loving boy, and had no reason for his time to come. God chose that he needed Sam in haven more than he needed him on earth." He turned to the second casket. "He also chose Katie. We all know that Sam was deeply in love with Katie, and Katie was deeply in love with Sam. He couldn't leave one without the other. In this example of perfect love, we should all give thanks that they are together, and rejoice that they now dwell in the promise land. Living perfectly, together."

That's really good. Did Katie die too though? I got kinda confused when I saw that it said also chose Katie.

*sighs*

Just all of a sudden I was reminded that I need to start my pigeon inspiration thing...

I don't write that fast. I'll write, and then have to do research. And then write again. Well, at least Sam and Katie ended up together.

I've written an excerpt or at least the first one and a half pages of the story I'm writing offline which has a working title of "The Lost Vampire Empress" but it's not that catchy so I'm still owrking on finding a more suitable title.
