EII- Per. 4/6 discussion

Identify one cause and effect relationship in what you are reading. Is it stated (obvious) or implied (like an inference)? Why?

Cause: Skylar hitting glass bottles at Ryan with a golf club.
Effect: Ryan wanting revenge on Skylar.

Disjointed Events.

Voldemort escaped and is lose out again and that leads into sending dementors to killing harry and it all leads up to something more. This is chain of events.

The cause an effect in my book has to do with Jazz looking at something, and Finding something out. When he looks at the picture of one of the victims, he uses what he's learned from his dad to realize that they've been paralyzed. Inferred. Disjointed.

Lil loco hangs out with the older kings, therefore he is given two guns and is being named the leader of the pee wees group. This is one cause leading for multiple effects.

One cause and effect in my book is a implied one, the author A.J Jacobs grew up not knowing as much as he could have and stuck inside, now he writes books about things he's learned and experienced, such as living biblical and being extremely healthy.

The Cause- Has no world experience.
The Effect- Does experiments to get experience.

The Pattern- Several books about experiments, living healthy, living biblical, read encyclopedia, edit articles and more.

Cause: Dervish couldn't button up his leather jacket.

Effect: He got cold because his chest was uncovered.

Cause: Everyone making fun of her and giving her a hard time
Effect: she committed suicide and made those 13 tapes

Multiple Cause leading to multiple event

Cause- Mickey and Ema following Ashley to the underground tunnels leading into an empty rooom
Effect- Mickey getting Ema's throat almost get slit.

In the book Room by Emma Donoghue the cause is that Jack was stuck in a room for a while and the effect is that he doesn't know a lot about what's outside of the room.

In my book there is a multiple cause leading to one event pattern. Evie was going out drinking and partying with her friends more often than not. That and her scandal at one of her parties caused her to end up having to move in with her uncle in New York. The cause and effect was stated because Evie's parents told her they were sending her to her uncle's because of what's been happening with her.

cause: the main charecter trtyed to find a sacred praying grounds

affect: he got knocked the fudge out and had loss of memory

In world war Z the cause of many organs that came from China to Brazil for transplant.The effect of this was that the organs were infected with a disease and when the transplant happened they turned into a zombie.It was obivious because they were talking about how it could of started the intial virus.

The United States is looking for possibly the most dangerous terrorist in the world for trying to have multiple attacks on U.S planes and people. This caused the U.S to look for him because of his terrorist actions. This is Multiple causes leading to one event.

One cause leading to multiples events.
Between now and 2060 the United States will grow by 90 million people.
More neighborhoods are creating affordable housing close to jobs and schools and parks.
They invest in the revitalization of urban areas.

Jimmy Graham dunks the ball over the goal post and bends it which causes a delay in the game

cause- Ben and Tess get lockers right by each other and have a class together
effect- they start to talk more and flirt and etc.
This is stated because we can see how they start to talk more and how most of the talking is because their lockers are next to each other. This is multiple causes leading to one effect.

My book has a one cause leading to multiple events. The cause is that the main character steals a spider. The effect can be that the spider can kill him or the vampire he stole it from can kill him.

The Science of Fear-One cause and effect in my reading of is when terrorist attacked the world trade center people traveled by car more than by plane causing car accident percentages to increase. It is a chain reaction cause and effect.

In my book The Assault the main character Alex jumped out of a jet and is flying down when some one messed with his parachute and he almost died. The cause was that someone is a traitor and that someone wants them dead the effect was that he almost died.

The cause is that Jennifer Is going to weigh Lia. The effect is that she guzzles down water before she is weighed. It is implied because you have to know that Lia has anorexia and doesn't want to be sent back to a clinic. So she needs to weigh more. This can be a chain of events.

Cause:The vampire broke the law and blooded the child.

Effect:The kid has to do a challenge and if he fails he will die.

Cause: Jack doesn't know normal outside things
Effect: He didn't know bees sting. He touched the bee and got hurt.

One cause, Multiple Events.

Madison leaving Lucy outside all by herself as she drove off. Lucy was a bit drunk and high so when the anonymous blogger that said she/he wanted her dead finally got their wish. This is like a cause and effect by Madison leaving her not watching as Lucy got inside safe so that got affected it by leaving her alone to the stranger. This cause and effect is more obvious than an inference.

Cause: other boys trying out for baseball are telling Matt he sucks
Effect: This makes Matt try even harder leading to him making the team

Multiple causes leading to one event

The cause in my reading would be Jae got beaten up in front of his siblings. The effects from this would be his brother and sister think he's weak and now he wants to get stronger to prove them wrong.
