Ashlynn walked along the beach humming.

"Jeez, what did Jullian do this time?" those 2 were always getting into fights. Ashlynn ran beside Anastasia. "Are you sure Tasia?" she said calling her by her nickname.
((her name is to long, so is the nickname ok?))

((whoa, I don't see a charrie form for Anastasia. and Ashley look at the charries page plz))

Derek tossed a rock into the water, sighing, "This sucks!" He shouted, not meaning to.

((I saw and said yes! You do know she is a vamp though? she doesn't drink human blood though. Brittany can you make a charrie for Anastasia plz?))

Ashlynn heard someone yell. "Hang on a sec Tasia." Ashlynn ran over to the shore and saw a dude.
"Hey, are you alright?" she asked concered. Not taking in the scent of his blood.

Derek glared at the water, then heard about two seconds after ((delayed reaction)) someone talking to him. He sighed, blowing his bangs out of his face, then turned to her, his face instantly softening. "Y-yeah... it's nothing..."

"Seriously, I can tell, I get vibes off of people." Ashlynn stood in front of him. "I'm Ashlynn."

Derek sighed, "It's just......" He smelled blood, and his stomach had lurched, but he shook it off. "I was just at my mom's funeral..."

"I'm so sorry. Were you close to her?" Ash smiled weakly.

"We were up until..... something happened..."

"What do you mean?"

"You wouldn't believe me even if I told you."

((he doesn't know your a vamp))

"I believe in alot of things."

((oops, yeah I change that now))

"Well....... I met a Vampire, and we fell in love...... when I told my mother we no longer were talking... even after I broke up with her when she tried to kill me."

"Oh, well me and you are more alike than you probably realize. Except, well...never mind."

Derek looked up at her, puzzled, "Except what?"

"You're still a human."

Derek was baffled, had he actually found another vampire so quickly? "You.... what?!!"

"Ya, I'm a vamp." Ash blushed. "You obvisouly don't like vamps though."

Derek cringed at memory, then stood and took a couple steps away from her; "Don't kill me..... "

"What makes you think I would kill you. If I wanted to I would have already, besides I don't drink human blood."

"Y-you don't???"

"Nope, haven't for 36 years. I don't miss it either."

"R-really?... then what do you eat?.... or drink I should say..."

"Animal blood."

Derek's muscles relaxed, and tears came back to his eyes, he quickly turned around; he hated crying in front of girls.

"Hey, you ok?" Ashlynn asked.

"Y...yeah." Derek took a deep breath, and wiped away the tears.

Ashlynn walked in front of him. "You don't look it."

Derek smiled weakly at her, wiping away the rest of his tears, "I'm fine... promise..." Then he froze, his face twisted to pain as memories flashed through his head. Down the beach was Tabytha, she was walking their way, she was licking blood off her fingers.

Ashlynn looked where Derek was. "I know her." she whispered.

((what if Tabyth is what killed her family and turned her into a vamp?))

"That's her... the girl I dated... I tried to dump her when she had killed a whole family.... and she tried to kill me because of it."

Ashlynn jerked her face up and met Derek's gaze. "She killed my family and turned me into a vamp."

Tabytha spotted Derek, with another vampire, she growled and moved over to them. She glared at Derek, with both a want for blood all over again and anger that he would go back to a vampire.

Ashlynn's vamp instintcs took over. She stood in front of Derek protecting him. "Hello, again, Tabyth." she said cooly.

Tabytha ignored the vampire, and growled at Derek, "So you won't date me but you will this BITCH?!!"
Derek stepped away from behind Ashlynn, "You killed humans for the fun of it!"

"Hey, I'm no WITCH! You killed my family, and you're saying I'm evil!?"

Tabytha looked at the vampire, and snarled, "So you're the one that lived... consider yourself lucky... I don't often do favors."

"You consider this a favor?" Ashlynn snarled. "If so, I'd rather be dead."

Derek swallowed the lump in his throat, and sighed, looking at his wrist where she had bit him so many months ago.

Ashlynn turned around facing Derek. "You ok?" she asked worriedly.

Tabytha glared at Derek, "You wuss, it was barely even a bite!" Derek looked up at her, "You're right, you just about wripped my wrist off!"

Ashlynn spun back around and slapped Tabytha in the face. "No one wants you here." she snarled.

Tabytha growled, "Fine... but watch it vampire, I gave you the life you have now.. and can end it even faster."

Ashlynn smiled cooly. "Just try."

Tabytha slit her eyes, and stared at Derek, Derek stared back though he was scared. "I'm leaving." She pushed between them and kept walking the way she had been; Derek shook with fear as she walked away.

Ashlynn watched Tabytha walk away. "Good ridance." she muttered.

Derek took a step back, finally finding the strength he needed the whole time there; he turned on his heel and ran.

Ashlynn ran after Derek. She caught with him in no time and tackled him to the ground. "What is your problem?" she hissed. "I'm not gonna hurt you."

Derek shook his head, biting back a sob, "It's not you...."
