Chaos Reading discussion

The book I'm now reading (S.) references "San Tadeo" (in this case a monastery). I have a really weird feeling that San Tadeo is referenced in something else I've read recently. In the last few months I've read quite a bit of metafiction, and I'm beginning to lose track of which references are real/fictional/both.

Has anyone read about San Tadeo in maybe one of Jeff VanderMeer's stories? Or perhaps in Pale Fire? Anywhere else you can think of?

This is going to bug me now... At least until I find out if there's a link.

San Tadeo is a form of Saint Thaddeus. A more complete reference would be to Saint Jude Thaddeus, patron saint of lost causes.

Thanks - that might actually be a clue. I've read a couple of things in the last year referencing saints that it could've come from. I think Palimpsest is a possibility. There's a character in there that references saints... and bees if I recall correctly.
