Manga is like books, as it follows a storyline and entertains us and has well developed characters. Joker counts as a book character as well.

I don't think the series is over. Well the Kane chronicles are over, but not the Kane's...if that makes any sense. (view spoiler)[They're not over, because Rick Riordan can't just leave us hanging with the Percy/Carter team up in the Son of Sobek! (hide spoiler)]
