Rockin! I'm in the middle of "Alice in Deadland" right now and am really enjoying unusual take on the zompoc.If anyone's up to it, this month's Group Read "Desolation" by Mark Campbell can meet the "D" in December challenge...
So December's not even halfway done. If anyone else out there is still up for this challenge, there are lots of great books to be added:Steven Roy's "Black Redneck vs. Space Zombies" could be used for "R" or "B". The book just got some great reviews posted. Larry Weiner's "Paradise Rot" for "R". Raymond Esposito's "You and Me Against the World" can be used for "R" or "M". You get picture.
Someone asked if they could use non-zombie books. Of course, that's in the first post. I'm limiting myself to the undead for this particular reading challenge, but don't feel like you have to.

On the plus side, I have found 3 'e' books, but the clock IS a tick-tocking, so I may not get done. I know you keep sayin this one is easy-peasy, but I beg to differ! 'E's aren't the easiest found letter, girl!!! ;-) Plus, I HAVE to do the paid proof-reading gig; I actually get to dust off my English B.A. and use it for once!!! (And, OF COURSE, that book has no 'e' as the first letter in the title OR any of the author's 3 part name!!! lol)

Man, I am having some SERIOUS trouble with this one! I've got a few alternate 'e' books, but I WILL finish Blameless by tomorrow nite 'cause that's the last book I gotta finish for my quarterly challenge! How did you like "Ready Player One", Jim? I've heard different things - the reviews either seem to love it or hate it...

Since I am a child of the 80's, I enjoyed the books because I could relate to the nostaglia and references. I also thought the story was interesting. For those that are not children of the 80's, the book may not be as fun because it would just include a bunch of obscure, unrelated references.
True. I enjoy VH1's "I Love the 80's" shows, so this book seemed interesting. Glad you liked it!

Just finished "Valley of Death, Zombie Trailer Park" - can't recommend it more - what a crazy ride!
Okay, I switched out Existing Dead with Until the End for the "E" book when I read somewhere that there were vampires in "Existing Dead." Not that I have anything against vampires, but I didn't want to mix up my undead soup.Moody got bumped for Mark Campbell's Degeneration, which I wanted to read since last month's BOTM.

If anyone wants to join me in a reading challenge for the month of December, please feel free to do so. I'm limiting myself to zombie books for this challenge, but don't feel that you have to. I'll post my book picks next.
Here's an easy challenge to get started:
Rules: Using the letters of the month, read a zombie book by an author whose first or last name starts with that letter or read a book whose title or series title starts with that letter. Feel free to disregard articles: a, an, the, etc. If you use the series title, please make sure to include that in your book list.
