I read somewhere that this is Blatty's personal favorite of all the stories he has told. Read it myself a while back. Still have not gotten the nerve to pick up, "The Exorcist."
Jorge wrote: "Also the Idea of bringing up a serial killer inspired by the real life ‘Zodiac Killer’ is genius...."Why do you consider that 'genius'? It's really the opposite of genius. Nothing more than the same technique any other artist or author ever uses.
I remember this book as being merely an 'okay', adequate, halfway-decent read. Nothing spectacular; just decent..

At the beginning you may find this irrelevant, but it fits perfectly as the plot thickens. Also the Idea of bringing up a serial killer inspired by the real life ‘Zodiac Killer’ is genius.
The minor details that Blatty leaves throughout the story, will sensibly connect and mass up into a huge climax at the end of the book. This will make sure to prickle the hairs on the back of your neck as you devour trough the pages.
William Peter Bllaty’s ‘The Legion’ is a superbly well written Horror/Thriller novel that transpires notions of God, good and evil all in this mighty universe.
