Geeze, people aren't exactly falling over themselves to read this, are they? It's hard to compete with the Luminaries. I could always give out free copies of Rapture as an incentive...
I'm sure that would help! I think we're all feeling a little overwhelmed with The Luminaries being 800 pages!
I read this back in June. This thread reminds me I have the next 2 books on my list for 2014!PA/dystopia is something I read lots (and lots) of and I think this is the first book which I have read that uses biblical lore as the premise - I really enjoyed that it was something a little different. It was a fast paced read - lots of action. I also read Unseen Country this year and liked this one better - mainly because I felt Rapture was aimed a little older and that's more my personal preference.
I've read this one too. I've read a few fallen angel type books but like Sweetp-1, this was my first with biblical reference. I found it hard to get into but once the action hits, you wont stop reading. Hope you enjoy the book!
Thanks, Kathleen. No, I haven't read Their Faces were Shining but I've heard about it. It's on my reading list. Thanks again for your feedback.
