Oh, then join my group, Dumbledore's Army. Here's the link- http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1...
I didn't like Harry Potter, the series was good but I didn't like the character Harry.
Um...I agree with BookBegger. Sort of. I love love love the books, but Harry personally isn't on my favorite characters list.
Hmmm...I actually figured this out once. PJO is my definite favorite series, and then Artemis Fowl I think, and Harry Potter is up there somewhere, but I would say Septimus Heap is at least in the top 5. And it will probably move up once more books come out, if they're really good. I might just get bored re-reading the other series.
oh, and how is 39 clues compared to,umm, Harry potter? ((as this discussion is named ¡¡Harry Potter!!))
It doesn't even come close, in my opinion, but it's not really the books' fault. 39 Clues is geared for a younger audience; I would say 9 years and up. I don't think that some of the plot and actual writing isn't super good, but I love learning about different countries and cultures and there is a lot of cool history in these books too. Plus there are fun codes to crack every now and then, which is pretty cool. It's hard to compare these two series because they're in different genres: Harry Potter in fantasy and 39 Clues is more like realistic fiction, I guess. Something that really enhances The 39 Clues series is the multi-level aspect of it: there is a website and collectible cards. I don't obsess so much over the cards, because you actually have to buy them, but the website is fun, especially if you like simple computer games. One of the funnest parts for me is being in the "The 39 Clues ROX" group because then we get really competitive (in a fun way, of course) about the different branches.
and why SIRIUS??? sirius was my favorite! ç.çI also liked lupin and tonks and they died too!!! It isn't fair!
