And yes, if they manage to get an actor hot enough to play Daemon it'll be a great movie. Even if it's only great because we enjoy drooling over Daemon :D

No!! Why do they have to make a movie out of it? I agree with previous comments stating that no actor could be Daemon. Seriously he's so perfect in my mind. I don't want something traumatic to happen. Something that's happen before - City of Bones. NEVER AGAIN. My feels will be destroyed all over again and not the good kind of feel destroying that I come back for, but the bad kind that leaves a black hole in my heart (yes it's dramatic but THIS IS A BOOK WE'RE TALKING ABOUT). I'm worried they might do something drastically stupid. Something like what happened in the movie version of Eragon. Good Lord. Oh the pain.
So are you excited? Who would you cast? Do you think it's possible to translate Obsidian into a GOOD movie?
