Ziauddin has been a great father to Malala. He had influenced greatly to Malala on women's education. Ziauddin has a different view than other males in Pakistan. They believe that women should not get education because it is not worth it and unnecessary, but to Ziauddin, he believe that women should be treated equally. Ziauddin has a dream to start a school that gives the opportunity to both males and females to get education. He definitely want Malala to go to school and get educated. Malala's mother had the opportunity to get education when she was a child, but she feel weird when the school has all male students and she was the only female. She decided to not to go to school. After meeting with Ziauddin, she was very disappointed with her decision on not getting the education. Both Malala's father and mother is very important to malala. Not only that her parents supported her but also her faith in getting the education for women. If i was her parents i would encouraged her to write and speak out because she can make a difference. Many women wish to get education but scared to speak out. Malala could be the leader and speak out for everyone.
I agree with Rita's comment because her parents did play a very important role in her life. Since she was a little kid, she only remembered being around the school. Her parents wanted her to keep getting education and Ziauddin didnt stop her but continued to support her. I bet her parents were afraid, but the fact that they didnt stop her from doing what she believed in is amazing. I like how Rita mentioned how important education was for Malala's father. He always enjoyed learning and started a school even though he didnt have enough money in the beginning. If i was Malala's parents I would encourage her to speak out because its something that not only she is facing but other girls in the world as well.
I also agree that Malala’s father, and perhaps her biggest role model in the novel, is not only and inspiration but her largest influence growing up. By educating her and sharing with her his insightful logic and struggles he has, he gives her an understanding of the “bigger picture” of Swat valley, which is how education is being limited, and educating women is not applauded. He teaches her about politics, morals, and how to improve as a student, and most importantly, that she has the potential to make a difference. He encourages her to speak up for what she is passionate about, and fuels her with the encouragement she needs in order to do so. If I were her parent I would definitely encourage her to write and speak out because it has strengthened her character and made her a better individual today. I would allow her to do what ever it was she needed to in order to achieve moral equality.
I agree, Malala's parents had a great impact on her views of education. Since Malala grew up in household where education was a big part of her life. I think Malala was really inspired by her father. When he was a child he had a stutter but he was able to overcome it and give great speeches. This showed Malala what determination is and is just one example of how her father impacted her. If I were Malala's parents I would want her to stick up for education because it was so important to their family.
Rita wrote: "Ziauddin has been a great father to Malala. He had influenced greatly to Malala on women's education. Ziauddin has a different view than other males in Pakistan. They believe that women should not ..."I agree with Rita's comment that Ziauddin was a very good father. Ziauddin was not like the male population of Pakistan. Most men in the Middle East, did not believe in many women's rights, including the education. Ziauddin risked his life to run a school in Pakistan. Ziauddin believed that women should be treated equally, and agreed that Malala should receive an education. If I were Malala's parents I would encourage her to write and speak out, because every individual should have equal opportunities to have an education.
Malala's father is a really great man! He tried to protect her freedom and gave her wings to soar. Also her mother is wonderful. She was inspired by her daughter and she started learning. She also gave the message that learning has no age limits and with true dedication and determination one can learn at any age.
