Malala gave an address to the United Nations. What was particularly meaningful or memorable about what she said?

Caleigh | 3 comments It's meaningful that she is still standing up for education and won't back down even after being shot, and threatened. She said "my hopes are the same" that injury and legs threatening experience didnt change her perspective, because she doesn't want to ever give into something that it wrong and unfair

I agree with Caleigh's comment, because it is very meaningful and brave of her that she is still standing up for education, even though she got shot and still gets threats from the Taliban. A very memorable thing that Malala said at the United Nations speech was, "I raise my voice not so that I can, but so that those without a voice can be heard." She is referring to the people in Pakistan that want to raise their voice against the Taliban, but are afraid to.
