Name: Vera CollinsAge: 17
Appearance:

Personality: Vera's a sweet girl, who has had a lot of bad relationships in her past. Her parents didn't really care that much about her, and practically abandoned her. She isn't afraid to speak up her mind, even when she's insecure. But she is really unsure of her feelings, and doesn't dive into relationships anymore. She doesn't trust that easily.
Name: James CrossAge: 17
Appearance: (I'll add this when I'm on a computer)
Personality: He's a sweet boy, he cares about everyone. But since this whole thing started he went a little cold, he is trusting of everyone and will take anyone in he finds on the road. He doesn't have any family left that he knows of, so those he helps are his family in his mind
James woke up in the warehouse where he took shelter the night before, he groaned and stood looking around, he didn't really know what he was looking for maybe a sign things were better. He opened the door to the warehouse slowly holding a bat his gun strapped to his back, the cost was clear so he started walking
I was planning on them running into each other here soon, but it doesn't have to be these next few posts
Oh that's cool! I'll work on that.__
Vera stuffed a knife in one of her combat boots. Her parents had died two weeks ago, and now she lived alone in her house, but it wasn't safe there anymore either. The whole city was infected, and she had to keep moving, she knew that. So, she had packed basic stuff in her backpack and took that with her as she left the house.
James sighed running his hand through his hair as he walked, he needed a ride walking everywhere was getting tiring. He saw an motorcycle shop and smirked heading over, he picked the lock and opened the door slowly. He started looking for the right ride
Vera walked out of the house, clutching her backpack to her. She looked around. Good, no walkers on the streets. She couldn't deal with the undead right now... what if her parents were amongst them? Okay, she didn't really love them, but she did care... She started walking to an abandoned part to the city.
He found the perfect one and got the keys, he found some gas and filled the motorcycle. He smiled and got it out of the shop, he turned the key and started the bike. He looked around before he started driving down the street
Suddenly, when she turned a corner, a zombie turned up right in her face. She gasped and screamed, falling back on her butt. She tried to fend the zombie off, grabbing her knife and trying to stab it with it, but the zombie was so strong.
James was lucky to be on the street, he sped down the road and got off the bike turning it off quickly, he ran over and swung side ways knocking the walkers head into a wall, he used his foot and pushed the dead walker off Vera, "It isn't safe out here you know." He said looking down at her holding out a hand to help her up
Vera looked up and met the guy's gaze. She hadn't expected anyone else to be out here. She took his hand and helped herself up. "I know. Nowhere is safe," she shook her head and let go off his hand. "Thanks for saving me," she mumbled softly. "I'm Vera."
"I'm James." He said nodding "How about you come with me, I'll get you somewhere safe..... Well safer." He said shrugging
"Um..." she wasn't sure wether to trust him, but he had just saved her life so... She let out a soft sigh. "Alright, thank you," she said softly, giving him a gentle squeeze.
He nodded and walker over getting back on the bike "Hop on." He said nodding to the back of the bike
Vera got on the back of his bike, hesitantly wrapping her arms around his waist. His warmth was comforting, but Vera knew that he was just like every other guy she had met. She didn't trust him. Not yet. "Where are we going?"
"Don't know yet. Away from here is all I can tell you." He said looking at her "Is that knife all you have?" he asked
"It is," she muttered. "We didn't exactly have guns at home," she said sarcastically, sighing. "Just drive."
He turned the bike on and started driving "Look." He called back. "Let's stop at a sport shop and get you some better equipment." He said as he drove
"Fine," she let out softly. She held onto him tighter as he started his bike. God, she wasn't used to this. Her old boyfriend had a bike, but she didn't like it. She didn't like it still, actually.
He started driving to the store, he was a grace rider, avoiding the walkers around them. He didn't talk anymore, he wanted to get her suited up to live then get her to a safe place
Vera held onto him, waiting for them to arrive at the store. She didn't really know what to think of him, but she barely knew James. So... well, it was hard to give an opinion about that.
He drove up to the store. There was no walkers around, so he just pulled up calmly in front of the store, he helped her off the bike then got off himself. He walked into the store "So, do you want a baseball bat or a golf club?"
Vera took in a sharp breath as she felt his hands around her waist. She shook it off. No, not that again. She bit her lip slightly and then let out a sigh. "Baseball bat," she muttered. "And maybe there are some smaller things here too? Like a pocketknife?"
"We can look, there should be some guns and cross bows as well, we'll just take what we think we need." He said nodding firmly before walking in
"Alright," she mumbled softly. "Maybe they have some throwing knives here? You know, the small ones. I have a good aim,"s he admitted. "Or maybe some arrows," she let out a soft sigh. She followed him inside.
She didn't find knives but she did find arrows. She got a casing and put them in there, putting the casing on her back by strapping it. "I found arrows," she called to him.
She nodded. "You keep the guns, I keep the arrows," she told him, biting her lip. She wanted at least one form of protection.
"I can't use the guns often." He said softly looking it over putting the bullets in the gun and pointing it
"I know, just use them when you really need to use them. We could always bring more knives, which you can use multiple times," she mumbled softly.
"Sure," she shrugged. "Whatever you want," she muttered softly. This was only about survival, she reminded herself. Don't get too close to him. She walked up to him. "Where do you live?"
"Far away." He said softly looking down "My parents and I were here visiting my grandma. My parents are gone. But I still have a chance to find my little sister."
"Oh," she said softly. "Well, we can find her," she nodded. "I don't have any family," she said slowly, glancing out of the window.
"It's okay, they didn't give a shit about me anyway," she muttered softly, running a hand through her hair.
He grabbed the bars and random snacks shoving them in his. "We should get some camping stuff then head out." He said
"Blankets or something," she mumbled. She saw fleece blankets and grabbed them, stuffing them in her backpack as well.
He grabbed a few jackets and stuffed them in his "Lets go, we don't want to stay here much longer." He said
Vera nodded and walked out of the store with him. She knew walkers could be close, and she didn't want to be around when they came here.
