Class: Palace slave

Preferred Deity: Ma'at

Age: 22

Social Status: Lower class

Occupation: Dancer; Entertainer; Storyteller

Personality: Though Nadira had to grow up fast due to past experiences, she is still young, sweet, and a romantic on the inside. She likes to contemplate things for the sake of wondering and she does not hesitate to ask questions. Her nature is to be kind and loving, always willing to share what she can. The only thing that prevents her from connecting to people is her general distrust because of, again, past experiences.
Trait 1: Dreamer
Trait 2: Philosophizer
Trait 3: Mature
Trait 4: Adventurous
Trait 5: Loving

Appearance:

Height: 5'5"
Weight: 122lbs
Hair colour: Dark chocolate brown
Skin colour: Olive
Eyes: Honey brown with flecks of green
Body type: Curvy; graceful; fluid; lightly muscled
Pitch of voice: Alto; melodic; soothing

Weaknesses: Her distrust; no fighting skills; her kindness (can be a strength as well); small animals.

Strengths: Physical strength; singing and dancing; her cleverness; bravery.

Brief Biography/History: Her mother was a leech. The father was never known and her mother was known in her village as a woman who got around a lot. When her mother discovered she was pregnant, she tried to have a miscarriage and if weren't for a close friend, Nadira might never have existed. The friend took in her mother and helped take care of her until Nadira was born. In fact, the friend named her Nadira since her mother didn't want to even bother with the child. Then, one night, her mother disappeared into the night, stealing anything valuable the friend possessed, leaving the babe crying in her crib. With nothing else to do, the friend had to find a home for the babe and fend for himself. He took Nadira to a temple and let her be raised by the priests and priestesses, promising that he would return some day.
At the temple, she was adored and often praised for her beauty and lovely singing voice. She blossomed under their care, oblivious to the fact she was without family and a true home. As she grew up, Nadira learned how to read and write, say her prayers to the gods respectfully, and to help around the temple. However, her experience there wasn't fully blissful, especially near the end of her stay there. When she was sixteen, one of the priests approached her. He always treated her kindly, stroking her head and smiling at her. To the oblivious and young Nadira, it seemed like he was an affectionate father. Instead, he assaulted her and things might have progressed more if one of the priestesses hadn't come upon them. But Nadira wasn't seen as the innocent victim. The man convinced the priestess that Nadira was trying to seduce him and he was powerless to resist her.
With accusations of being a harlot, Nadira was thrown out of the temple and was told never to return. The young girl felt scorned and angry, alone, and very much lost. For the longest time, she scraped by on the streets, begging and stealing, to which she wasn't proud of. If it weren't for the happen chance of crossing paths with one of the Pharaoh's advisers, she might have died and her story would have been at an end. The man saw the young twenty-year old, and found her beauty and subtle grace enchanting. He invited her to the palace, gave her clothes, and a position among the group of entertainers and dancers. There, she promptly learned the art of dancing and has perfected it in the next couple years.

Biggest Fear: Getting close to someone and loosing the ability to dance.

Class: Rogue

Preferred Deity: Asman

Age: 25

Instead, he is even more humble, though he isn't submissive. Rajab has lived a life in the background and he has never really had the chance to be in the spotlight. Kind, warm, and strong, Rajab is always there as a friend and even a brother, if need be. He isn't shy, but he doesn't put himself out there either. Rajab is just an ordinary man on the ordinary mission of finding a life.
Trait 1: Confident
Trait 2: Intelligent
Trait 3: Calm
Trait 4: Humorous
Trait 5: Gentle

Appearance:

Height: 6'0"
Weight: 163lbs

Skin colour: Medium olive; lightly tanned
Eyes: Dark amber
Body type: Athletic; gymnast's strength
Pitch of voice: Warm baritone; silky; sophisticated
Distinguishable markings: He has a birthmark on his right shoulder that is shaped like a sickle and a tattoo around his left wrist that says in Arabic, "Leave evil, it will leave you".

Weaknesses: His mother and sister; no friends/on his lonesome; unsure how to fight magic.

Strengths: Fighting abilities; skills of persuasion; well educated; loyalty.

Brief Biography/History: Rajab was born as the fourth prince to the king's second wife. Though his father was proud to have another son, he rarely saw him and he was neglected as he focused his attention on the heir. His mother took care of him most of his life and she was a sweet, gentle woman barely old enough to be considered a mother. Their palace was small, but elegant and Rajab often liked to play in the gardens with his siblings. However, he wasn't happy as he grew older. Though his sisters and brother were decent enough, they didn't really love him and he began to feel like an outsider. Moreover, the young man felt useless, with no purpose in life. When he was fifteen, things changed for him. His oldest brother, who was twenty-eight at the time, started a coup to overpower the king, who had fallen ill and recently been quite weak. In the small civil war that ensued, Rajab's oldest brother died and the third son who was a follower took leadership of the rebels. With the second son, Rajab helped in anyway he could, fighting despite his young age. The civil war lasted for a couple years and when it seemed like it wouldn't end, the third son surrendered. For that time, Rajab was considered a good soldier and the people began to like him, even considering him as the heir. Though the second son led the king's troops and fought fiercely, he wasn't a good man. And for some years, as Rajab completed his education as a prince, there was an underlying tension between him and his brother. Then, when Rajab was twenty, the king died. The second son rose to the throne, though many of the people were afraid and murmured. Fearing another coup, the second son attempted to assassinate Rajab, though he was evaded. After a couple more attempts, Rajab thought his brother would give in, but near his twenty-first birthday, his brother threatened to kill his mother and sister. Seeing no other option, Rajab publicly renounced his title as a prince and disappeared, hoping to find a way to return to his homeland.

She stepped inside and, not knowing that this particular circle had the power of transportation, and since she didn't have anyplace in her mind, it carried her to the last location it was connected with.
