Braelyn sat at the Ravenclaw table. I hate the beginging of the year! She thought.

Meggie stared at the table waiting for the sorting ceremony to start.

Braelyn reasted her head on her hand. This is so boring... She thought.

Meggie sighed taking her eyes off the table.

Braelyn sighed.

"See ya later Meggie," said Rose, heading towards Braelyn's table.

Braelyn saw Rose walking over. "Hey Rose!" She said, takeing her hand off her head.

Maya walked over to Meggie. "Can I sit here?" she asked.

((lol, I missed 'her head' and I was like !!!???? taking))

"Hey Braelyn!" said Rose.

((Lol..))

"How was your summer?" Braelyn asked.

"Long," said Rose. "I hate summer."

((She's not on!))

"Mine too." Braelyn said. "Me too." She laughed.

((Her last post was 40 something minutes ago.))

Rose sat down next to Braelyn. "Wonder what ((headmaster)) will say this year," she said.

((Make up a name! Haha))

"I know really. He's speaches are always so long!" Braelyn said.

((Yes. None of my family has that name, though.))

"Birkheart has no heart for those of us who hate listening to long speaches," muttered Rose.

"I agree." Braelyn said. "We already know everything."

Rose laughed. "Everyone your age thinks they know everything," she informed Braelyn.

Look over there! It's a creepy barbie! (Sara no H) wrote: "Maya walked over to Meggie. "Can I sit here?" she asked.

"Sure," Meggie said looking at Maya.

"Oh thanks." Braelyn said. "And everyone your age thinks everyone one my age thinks we know everything."

((gosh Susie and Silver! your characters dialogue is getting confusing!))

"I'm Maya. What's your name?" she said.

"Yep," said Rose. "Of course, everyone my age is always right unless they're not me."

Braelyn laughed. "Ok. Whatever." She said.

"So, how've you been?" asked Rose?

"Good, thanks! And you?" Braelyn asked.

((yay! I may type slow because I just painted my fingernails green...))

"Pretty good," said Rose. ((ignore the second question mark, lol. typo.))

((I saw that...I'm like, what!?))

"What's your first class, do you know?" Braelyn asked.

"Divination," said Rose in a creepy voice.

"Haha! Mines potions." Braelyn said, making a barfing face.

((oh wait do they have schedules? I just made that up...))

"Oh wait that was last year's. Umm..." Rose looked for her schedule. "I have potions too!"

"Yes! We have it together!" Braelyn said. "Now it's not as bad." She smiled.

Meggie smiled, " I'm Meggie. It's my 6th year here."

"Cool," Maya said, "I'm 14 but I'm only in my third year because..." Maya cleared her throat.

Meggie gave her a warm smile, " It's alright. You don't have to tell me if it makes you uncomfortable. Anyway....how are you enjoying Hogwarts?"

"I love it. I'm so glad to be back after missing a year," Maya said.

"That's cool! Hogwarts is awsome!" Meggie said, " Both my parents came here, so did my brother and my sister goes here too."

Rose smiled, but it wasn't a really happy smile, because she had just found divinations on her schedule.

"What's a matter?" Braelyn asked, knowing Rose too long to be fooled by her fake-smile.

"Divination," Rose muttered.

"Oh..." Braelyn said. "I'm sorry..."

"Again." said Rose. "I guess they think I need more practice at it...?"

"Or, they really want you to be a Seer." Braelyn said, laughing.

"Possibly," said ((Is my charrie's name Rose?)), smiling.

((Yes.))
"Hey." Braelyn said. "Don't knock till you try it."

"It's just so boring!" she said. ((I think my mom just got home))

"Try to pay attention, and pretend it's fun." Braelyn said. "That's what I do in potions."

Rose laughed. "Okay," she said.

"Now..." Braelyn said.

"Now what?" Rose was slightly confused.

"I don't know." Braelyn said, shrugging.
