I just noticed no discussion listed for this guy......just reread Treachery and was thinking what about Reo (Asst DA) for him???? I just feel bad for this character as he lost his sister and only family.....

I would love to see Crack with a detective. That would be so cool.

I love Crack. He really is a sweet guy even though he don't play games. I would love to see him find someone. A new character could be good. If I was to match him with someone already in the series, I would say the woman named Harvo. The queen of hair and fiber that works under Berenski aka Dickhead.

He played prominently in the earlier books but has shown up only in "walk on" roles here lately. I'd enjoy the kind of storyline like you're suggesting.

I see him more as a protector than an arm chair detective besides he trusted Eve to take care of his 'baby girl'. I think he would trust her to keep him out of trouble.

I always forget. His real name is William Buckley.
