I love Wesley even though he is kind of a jerk face

Birdie (birdiesbooks) When reading this book I wasn't sure if it was okay for me to like Wesley but in the end I ended up loving him, but he has his moments that really bothered me. Overall I really loved this book sooooo much!

Toni I liked that Bianca wasn't a push over and she stood up for herself...and I loved Wesley yes he was a jerk at first but he was totally sweet in the end!

Amira | 1 comments Just finished reading the book) at first I was really disappointed because I didn't like the writing style and the main character. Everything was way too obvious. But it really got sooo much better, I found myself loving the book in the end) the characters are adorable, especially Wesley ahhh. And Bianca is such a strong girl. But I still don't like her father for saying such nasty things to his daughter(

Just finished it!! I'm surprised by how much I liked this book! At first I wasn't too sure because I just didn't really get what the point was. By the end though, it all came together and I thought it was great. I definitely liked Wesley in the end, and it was nice to see Bianca's growth. I liked how she was snarky and cynical, but it wasn't overly obnoxious. Once you got used to it, it gave the narrative a little edge. I also liked the message at the end about everyone feeling the the DUFF, which is pretty true haha! My favorite thing about this book is how it's very straight-forward and not too fluffy, but yet has decent character development. I am definitely impressed with this story!

Definitely agree! I liked how she got upset a little bit about her life situation, but she dealt with it and wasn't too whiny. Sure she had her moments, but that is to be expected. She learned her lessons in the end! Wesley is a fun character! I liked how we kinda hated him at first, but then learned to love him :D

Kim Alexander (booksandmusicatk) I'm going to be in the minority, but I didn't care for this too much. Couldn't stand Bianca! I actually found her to be pretty weak. Wesley was kind of annoying, but he did amuse me. I did like Joe and it did make me want a cherry coke, but this just wasn't a good fit for me.

Cheyenne | 1 comments I loved this book! Nice quick read :) I loved all the characters they all had something special about them. I loved Bianca I thought she was a funny character and said things like it is even though she kept some things private I found her very interesting and I loved the connection between her and Wesley. I also liked the relationship she had with her friends Casey and Jessica. Overall I really liked this book it didn't really get boring for me at all which is rare :)

Nay Denise (naydenise) Finished this book today and I have a few spoilers to discuss:

First off, the way Bianca threw that Cherry Coke at Wesley like it was nothing at the Nest was absolutely hilarious, but by all means he deserved it to the max. How dare he call her the Duff. That was so insensitive and jerkish of him. Wesley definitely started off as an asshole in my mind. He had no shame in trying to be "nice" to Bianca just to sleep with either Casey or Jessica. Such a douchbag!

What shocked me the most -- when Bianca initiated their "relationship" by kissing him and furthering it by going along with having sex! Wow -- that shocked me the most. For someone to hate a guy so much, she definitely was fond of his bedroom skills.

I personally think using him as a distraction was a lose-win for her in the long run seeing as her issues at home only got worse, but in the end she got her man.

The most romantic and sweetest part of the entire book had to be one of two scenes: 1) when Wesley punched Mr. Piper for hitting Bianca and took her home with him instead of leaving her there to endure more blows and 2) when he sent the flowers (and gifts) to her house with a heartfelt letter. Definitely made me smile and think much more highly of Wesley.

I love how their relationship grew and in the end they both started over and decided to take things slow. Perfect ending to a book!

Sidenote: Toby is such a damn gentleman! He was sweet enough to see the chemistry between Bianca and Wesley and gave her the advice to go to him despite her "issue" with the idea of them (Wesley and her) being an item. Such a sweet guy he is!

Rida (thereader7) | 4 comments Wesley was kind of an ass but he was witty and everything so I thought he was very appealing. my favorite quote was "Wesley Rush does not chase girls but I'm chasing you". I kind of died of bliss when I read this

Devon (booknookandbabbles) This was a great book, but I just hated how Bianca kept everything to herself and tried to make everything a secret! I guess that's what leads to the downward spiral that causes the whole plot of the book to occur, but I just think she should have trusted Casey and confided in her. This book had a FABULOUS message though! Honestly, it makes me think before I think of anyone as a whore or slut. And everyone truly feels like the DUFF at one point or another! :)
