Denise (drbetteridge) Since I have very limited shelf space right now, I'm doing this challenge to free up some room. A lot of my books I'll want to hang on to even once they've been read, so I'm listing books that I'll read and not feel bad about getting rid of.

1) The Autobiography of Malcolm X
2) What Einstein Told His Cook: Kitchen Science Explained
3) The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
4) Cosmos
5) The Colditz Story
6) Knots and Crosses
7) An Instance of the Fingerpost
8) The Quincunx
9) The Sherlockian
10) The Namesake
11) The Phantom Tollbooth
12) Minding Frankie

Leslie Good luck Denise! I also have The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society on my shelf - maybe we can read it together. The Phantom Tollbooth is also on my bedroom bookcase, but that one has been read and reread since I first got it as a child!

Denise (drbetteridge) Thanks, Leslie! Yes, if you wanted to read Peel Pie Society together (or anything else, for that matter), I'd like that. Whenever you come to a point when you're ready, just let me know. As far as The Phantom Tollbooth, I don't know where I was to have missed it as a child. I think I first remember seeing it on my boys' messy bedroom floor years ago. It just has me curious now. :D

Kathleen (towers_kt) | 35 comments Copies of Knots and Crosses and The Sherlockian are both somewhere in my TBR-Mountain, too--if you want a reading-buddy for either of those.

Best of luck! :)

I also have The Sherlockian hanging out somewhere in the mountain range. Would be up for a buddy-read in 2014.
