Street Lit Corner discussion

Does it seem like all her books have the same pattern?? The baddest chick, the naive chick etc etc Any thoughts? comments??

I haven't read any of her book as of yet. I do want to read all of her books tho!!

I've only read A Hustlers Wife...but it was unrealistic as many of the books are; sometimes I can not get my imagination to wrap around some of the plots. They do tend to become repetitive, diffent name same plot with a little twist but that doesn't stop me from reading them :)

Same here I keep reading even though its basically the same story plot. I would just like her to do alittle twist every now and then keep me quessing!!

The only book I have read by Nikki Turner is Tales from Da Hood. I haven't read anything else by her so I don't know if there is a pattern. But I did feel that her writing was very predictable. Of course that won't stop me from reading anything else by her because you never know that might be the book when she changes up.

Hi Sy! If you get a chance A Hustlers Wife is a good read! Also The Glamorous Life is another good book by Nikki Turner as well.

Well Im reading Wahida's first book. But I left it in my car last night and didn't feel like getting it. ANyway, I picked up Driving Dirty on I-95 and I can tell you, I think this is going to be a great book. I've only read the first 20 pages but I'm feeling her writing style. I also own A HUstler's wife but I haven't read it yet. I plan on doing so shortly.

Nat, how could you NOT feel like going to your car to get Wahida's book out? Her books are the bomb. Especially if you read them in the order they are meant to be read in!!

LOL!! Well I finished riding dirty I-95 and it ended good but it was a foot dragger!!!

I'll be onto my WAHIDA BOOKS neXT! I have heard sooooooooooooooo many great things about it!
