I can't say I know what I thought this book would be going into it. It did, however, exceed any expectations I might have had for it.I really enjoyed the style that it was written in. I found that the journal entries made it seem more real and thus a more believable story.
I found this book really sad. Between depression, ptsd, and alcoholism, it was a touch read. TO chronicle a life from beginning to end, one knows there are bound to be tragedies, but I didn't expect them to add up in such a way.
This was a fantastic book.
