Good luck, Steph! I'm also planning on reading fewer books next year. I'm still trying to finish up my Bachelor's, plus working 30 hours a week, and maintaining a household, so 100 books a year was too much pressure for me. Also, I want to read a lot of bigger books, as I own quite a few that I'm putting off reading simply because I could read two or three books in the time it will likely take me to read one of those, and I'm trying to reach my goal. My official goodreads goal will be 50 books next year, but I'm hoping to read somewhere between 50 and 100, I just don't want to put any unnecessary pressure on myself. After all, reading is supposed to be fun! =P My goal in this group is to read 24 books that I already own, but I'm really hoping to make it to 48 books and achieve the next level. I'm just trying to be more realistic for next year. Let's hope we both achieve our reading goals in the new year! =)

My goal last year was over 150. I was studying for my PhD. qualifying exams, so I had plenty of time and a good reason to read.
However, 100 books is still an ambitious goal!
