Do you have any reading habits?

I only have a few,

-I cannot stop in a middle of a page, I have to finish the entire page before I put the book down.
-I cannot stand when people doggy ear the pages, to me, it's being rude to the book haha!
-I don't leave a bookstore or a library without reading the first page of the books I got (bought)

I can't stop in a middle of a chapter. I have to finish the chapter before putting the book down because if I don't, I'll forget what had happened :P

I used to do that all the time! But for some reason I don't have to anymore.

I'm the same way!! Also I have to get super comfortable so all I can think about is reading that book and I have to try to finish a chapter before I can stop reading. And I have to finish a book even if it's not very good haha!

Same! But if I do have to stop, when I pick up the book again I have to reread the sentence till it feels right, otherwise I can't finish the book. I talk to my books too, and the characters, which is embarrassing when it happens in public and people think I'm talking to myself.

I understand what you mean :) If I'm reading a lot of books at once, I would have to reread the page before to remember what was happening.

And lol I talk to my characters at some points too lol!! I would say things like, Go girl! or Stop Crying! Or anything that goes with what's happening through the book (:

Lol this one time when I was finishing up reading Catching Fire I was so upset about the ending that I screamed NO!!! and threw the book across my living room! My mom was like "What the Heck Andria!?"

Omg haha! I throw my books sometimes, but I have to be careful if I'm on my NOOK :D

It takes a lot from a book to make me cry, do you cry easily?

I have to read to the end of the chapter... then I stop.

I can't stop in a middle of a page, I hate dogging earring books (ahhhh I HATE it), I usually tap my feet while reading (don't know why It just a habit I guess) and I will yell or talk to the characters in my book (my brother usually gets mad when this happens).

I doggy ear books a lot :/ But now I have a cool bookmark!:)

Haha I don't have a lot of bookmarks I just stick what ever piece of paper is convenient when I am reading.

If a book is boring I just quit lol idk why but I do and I always have to finish the page or I will forget where I was st

I always write what happens in the book on sticky notes

I never have bookmarks around so I just try to remember what page I am on.......then I forget and spend 10 minutes looking for it. I also don't like to read long books. I usually get bored with them.

Lovely Habits:

-Bring a book wherever I go including parties, movies, and always school (without shame : the bathroom) school assemblies
-I hug my book all the time to my chest
-Get annoyed when people ask me the title,when people try to talk to me when I'm reading a book
-If I don't have a formal bookmark with me then I use a piece of paper that I rip off my homework, a receipt, occasionally if there is absolutely nothing else around my black hair, toilet paper (ehehehe), brochures, and many more possibilities.
-Ignore my stomach's pleas for food
-When I'm finished reading a book, immediately shove it down my friend's throat (figuratively speaking)
-Start screaming when something happens no matter who's around
-When encountering an epic character laugh at their jokes out loud, then share it with the person next to me looking at me like i'm crazy
-Yell at bad ugly characters (Not nameing any names)

I do that I won't forget but I just still do it

I START TO FEEL ATTACHED TO THE BOOK AND I START HAVING EMOTIONS.

I have to finish the chapter before putting down a book and sometimes I peek at the start of next chapter

I'm the type of person who underlines and writes in all my books. Whenever I'm reading I have a pencil in one hand and a dictionary in the other :)

I've actually never really cried reading a book, I tend to not get overly emotional over books, movies, or music though that's just me :)

I'm not alone!

I can't stop in the middle of a chapter,or page.
I can't read & eat.
I prefer reading in my room, and at night.
I can't dog ear a book..
I sometimes talk to my characters ,like,'THAT was just stupid..Why'd you do that! Oh just kill him/it!"
Oh, when i'm getting toward the end of the book, I just say 'nooooo, you can't end' and hug the book..Then continue reading.
I sometimes like to listen to music when I read.If I feel like hearing noise , that isn't speaking directly to me and interrupting me.
