Sachi walked out of the baker's, her brother following behind her. The door creaked as it slammed shut. A cold breeze brushed passed them, causing Sachi to shiver.
In her hands she carried a basket in which was a loaf of bread that was slightly staled. The baker had sold it to her for cheap and money was tight for the Yuuta's this season. Their father crafted swords, but people didn't have enough money to buy them. The brother and sister walked quietly in the direction of their home.
Sachi was engrossed in thought when her foot hit a stone in the ground and she fell forward, the basket and bread flying out of her hands. A strong hand grabbed her before she hit the ground. "Be more careful." Katsurou said. "Hey, bread girl. Don't think you can be so careless and get away with it so easily." A man said, scowling. "I'm so sorr-" Sachi began, but she was cut off by her own gasp as her brother grabbed the man by his shirt. "She doesn't have to apologize to rotten people like you." Katsurou growled. The man laughed. "And why is that?" He retorted. Before Sachi could process what was happening, her brother and the man began to fight. There were no swords involved, but each side was taking quite a beating. "P-please stop!" Sachi said quietly, but no one could hear her.

Aria walked by Katsurou and even though she was disguised it was obvious she was of royal blood.she tripped and a man who had been drinking too much grabbed aria and tried to drag her off.aria struggled but she was too weak " someone help me please " aria cried out as the man started to fiddle with her cloak trying to get it off of her she kept trying get away tears falling "please someone help me "

Katsurou had practically knocked the man senseless when he heard a girl screaming. He glanced at Sachi who nodded. The two of them hurried off in the direction of the screams. When they found the source, Katsurou immediately shoved the man away from the woman. The man stumbled and fell. "Stupid drunks." He muttered. Sachi helped the girl get reoriented. "I'm very sorry for what happened to you." She said, bowing her head. "You don't seem to be from around here. Do you need help getting somewhere?" Sachi's voice was soft and quiet as though it would be lost in the wind. Katsurou was dealing with the drunk.

Aria nods "I never should have left the palace "She was crying softly "I'm sorry I caused you trouble " She saw Katsurou and the. Looked at the ground thinking how do I tell him I mean I've seen him from the palace but how do I tell him I like him ?

"The palace?" Sachi asked. "You must be the princess." Sachi bowed. Katsurou approached them. Sachi smiled. "My name's Sachi, and this is my brother, Katsurou." Katsurou nodded in response. "You shouldn't wander these streets alone. You never know what might happen." He said.

"Well Katsurou I wanted to tell you something ...." Aria said softly and fixed her cloak.She looked up at him and then turned to Sachi and said softly so only she could hear "C-could you tell your brother that I -I like him ?"!she blushed faintly and smiled.

Sachi's eyes widened a bit before she nodded. "Of course." She said, with a smile. Katsurou stood there, watching the two girls whisper. Sachi walked up to Katsurou before carefully uttering the words. "She likes you." Katsurou's eyes widened in surprise. Sachi cleared her throat. "Forgive me for saying this, but are you sure that you aren't mistaking my brother for someone else? That the person who has your affection isn't a peasant such as he?"

Aria shook her head "Sachi no I know that I like Katsurou and I always have I do not care if he is a peasant or an artisan and such all that matters is how one feels because if you love some one status should not matter". Aria then sighed sadly feeling as though she was unwelcome now that she had told him how she felt."....and I do not make mistakes Sachi for I know that I am sure "

"My apologies." Sachi said, bowing her head. "I have errands to attend to, so I'll leave the two of you to talk." With that, Sachi left the two alone. "I'm sorry, sometimes Sachi is too buisness-like." Katsurou said with a laugh. "She didn't offend you in any way, did she?"

Aria shook her head "no but why would she say that ?" Aria then looked up at Katsurou her eyes meeting his " Katsurou I -I do like you but I'm afraid that you do not like me ..." Her voice trailed off and aria looked so delicate which in truth she is that one would want to hold her.

"Our family is quite poor. She takes on most of the responsibilities. She sees romance as buisness." Katsurou said with a sigh. "Sometimes I wish that she would just relax." Katsurou smiled a bit. "I do like you, it's just that I don't know you well. We could change that, though."

Aria smiled "I'd like that and I'm aria " she blushed and bowed to Katsurou.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Katsurou said, taking her hand in his and kissing it.

Aria blushed "as it is to final speak to you " she smiled ."Katsurou if I may ask how would you and your sister like to come to the palace for dinner to meet my brother ?" She asked because it was just her and her brother left.

"We would be delighted to come." Katsurou said. "I've never been inside the palace, but of heard that it is quite amazing."

Aria smiled "It would be an honour to have you and Sachi come " she smiled "so it's a date ?" She asked as a snow leopard wandered over "oh and this is Sakura my snow leopard " she gently kissed Katsurou on the cheek.

Sakura purred softly

Yang moved swiftly through a crowd being concealed by a cloak.He stopped when he sensed guards blocking the exits of the market place.Sh*t word got out that i escaped. He thought staying in the crowd. More guards filled into the market place standing around until the captain of the guard shouted."People. You have a traitor amongst you at this moment."HE said hear whisper from random people.He sighed."Unless he or she Reveals him or herself we will begin a search." He said letting everyone in the marketplace to think.

Aria looked around she sensed her brother but did not know where he was.She then pulled the hood of her cloak down knowing that she'd be ok ."so um Katsurou ?" She asked softly

Katsurou felt a light blush when she kissed his cheek. "Yes?" He asked.

A man(Yang) bumped into Sachi. He was tall, probably is his twenties, and dressed nicely. She stumbled a bit before righting herself. A traitor? Who could it be? She thought.

"Shall we go ?" She blushed and looked up at him her eyes meeting his. Then she saw her brother and she shouted to the guards "Leave whoever it is be because they are under royal protection by the crown princess which is me .." She removed her cloak revealing that it really was her and she knew they were after her brother but she loved him and wanted to protect him " now go before I kill you guards " they looked at her "b-but princess you shouldn't have left the castle your health is too fragile and you are delicate" aria replied "I do not care ok? Now go and leave us " the guards left and turned her attention back to Katsurou "I'm sorry about that my brother must've done something stupid again but Katsurou ?" She blushed she wanted to ask if he'd hold her for a bit but didn't know how to ask.

"What is it?" He asked, gazing into Aria's eyes. Aria seemed nervous. Katsurou smiled a bit. "You're cute when you're nervous."

Aria blushed and hugged Katsurou she didn't know why but he seemed so nice and gentle." I -I really like you Katsurou " she let go blushing "s-sorry" she had that butterfly feeling and she knew he was the one for her "Katsurou would you and your sister like to-to come stay at the palace ?" Aria smiled and looked up at him

A figure suddenly jumped overhead from the rooftops of different buildings. A man was running after it. "Stop! Thief!" he yelled.

Reito laughed, "Its not nice to call me a thief!" he called, grinning and his tail swished back and forth.

Aria shook her head "I will be back in a sec Katsurou "she kissed his cheek and then leapt up onto the rooftop gracefully and landed in front of reito"I suggest you give what you stole back "

Reito's grin grew, "Ah, Princess Aria Rose Kaiden. Its a pleasure to meet you~" his eyes were filled with mischief, "I'm afraid I can't do that. You see, I have a small child to take care of, and I'm not able to afford food. So I simply took it, but as I said, it is not for me, it is for a small child I am taking care of."

"You have a child ?" Aria smiled "I'd like to meet this child then " aria removed her cloak and revealed a rare sword attached to her hip she looked at Katsurou.

((Hey izzy could I make reito a girlfriend ?))

Reito sighed, "Alright," he let out a low whistle, and a young boy, about 10, jumped up onto the building. He was small, and obviously fragile. Rei's expression softened as he went over and picked up the boy, who hung onto his neck. Reito looked at Aria, "His mother died a few months ago due to a sickness, and I had found him alone in an alley, so I took him in..."

Aria went over to them and smiled gently "you could've asked me for help reito "she handed him a bag filled with money and stuff the child would need.

Iris walked towards reito "Reito ?"

Reito looked at the bag and hesitantly took it, then set the boy down, ruffling his hair. "Let's go Lee," he said, taking the boy's hand and looking at Iris. "Yes Iris?"

Iris smiled and said softly "how's lee doing ? " she hugged reito

Aria smiled and went to Katsurou "sorry had to deal with something " she hugged Katsurou gently blushing and then she kissed him

Reito wrapped an arm around her as he was holding Lee's hand. He smiled down at the boy, "He's doing much better. His cold has gone away some." He picked up the boy and held him.

Lee curled up in Reito's arms, closing his eyes and sniffling.

Iris smiled "that's good and here I brought you guys something " she pulled out a new dagger for reito with an inscription on it for lee she had a coat and some clothes "and reito I love you " she whispers



Aria smiled at Katsurou and pulled away gently "lets go "

Katsurou nodded. "That was very kind of you. To help that child, I mean." He said. "If only the rest of the government could behave that way." He said with a sigh.

Aria smiled "I do what I can " she blushed looking up at Katsurou and hugged him gently. Aria really liked Katsurou but how did he feel about her?
((How about Katsurou kisses aria and Sachi finds them kissing ?))

Katsurou caressed Aria's face with his hand. He leaned down towards her and carefully tilted his head before placing his lips against her's. He kissed her soft lips, never before feeling such a love for someone.

Sachi exited the baker's for a second time. The bread that she had dropped earlier was ruined. She walked back to where she had left her brother only to find him kissing the girl from earlier. Her basket clattered to the ground and she gasped is shock and some small amount of horror. She stoop there, paralyzed by shock for a few moments.

Aria blushed and kissed him back gently then pulled away gently "k-Katsurou h-how do you feel about me ?" She then saw Sachi "I-I think your sister saw us "aria blushed looking up at Katsurou smiling.


Iris smiled at reito and hugged him gently and whispered "I love you reito "

Katsurou smiled. "Let her see. There's no reason for us to keep secrets." He said, not even looking at Sachi, who was growing red with embarrassment and fury. She picked up her basket and composed herself before walking over to the two. "I see you two have gotten acquainted while I was gone." She said, forcing a smile.

Aria blushed "I-I love you Katsurou " she smiled and hugged him gently.she smiled as it started to snow gently and she laughed softly "yes we have Sachi is that a problem ?"

"O-Of course not." Sachi said, forcing the words out of her mouth. Katsurou smiled. "I love you, too, Aria." He said.

Aria blushed and smiled "you both are welcome to stay at the palace and you are to meet my brother at dinner tonight " she held katsurou's hand gently and smiled gently.

Iris smiled at reito

((What's Sachi's problem ?))

((She doesn't approve of them. brb in 30 min))

Katsurou smiled. "That would be wonderful." He said. Sachi smiled. "Yes, I shall look forward to it."

Aria smiled and nods "glad to hear it " aria blushed and looked up at Katsurou

((It's improper for the crown princess to fall in love with a peasant.))

Katsurou kissed Aria again. Sachi stared in shock. What on Earth was he doing wasting his time on the Crown Princess? Surely she would just dispose of him whenever she had a marriage arranged by her parents, or would she keep him around until her parents found out and had him executed? Thoughts of despair swirled around in Sachi's head.

"Sachi my parents are dead so I can love whomever I choose and their last words were to say that the royal family can be with who ever they like peasant or not and I want to be with your brother " aria kissed Katsurou back and tears fell from her eyes "I love Katsurou and that won't change ever " aria was hurt she could tell what others thought because of her spirit

Sachi scoffed, her eyes narrowing. "That's what you say now, but what will you say when Katsurou brings you no physical benefit. We aren't rich, nor do we have any political benefit. All the royals ever do is destroy us and make us think that they are protecting us and maybe even be so daring as to make us think that they love us." Sachi said. "I'm very sorry, but I don't think that I'll be able to attend tonight's dinner as I can see things realistically." She said, sneering at her brother. "To think that you would throw away all that this family has worked for so that you could damage our reputation and go pursue your dreams while we stay here and work like slaves to earn enough money to survive!" Sachi said, directing her words towards Katsurou who looked as though he had been slapped. "Sachi, you know that I would never abandon-" He started but was cut off by Sachi. "Of course, you would never abandon our family. Just like every other person who has been enticed by power and influence and love." Sachi said, her words dripping with poison. "You know what, Katsurou? Go ahead. Be happy while I spend the rest of my life in misery." With that, Sachi turned her back to Katsurou and Aria and walked away. Katsurou was stunned for a second before turning to Aria. "I'm sorry. I don't know why she's being so hostile."

Aria cried softly " I'm not like that and Katsurou I love you I always have " she hugged him "I'd do anything for you"aria said tears falling.
