I love Derek(: I can feel for him all the time. Poor kid. Everybody thinks he's crazily ugly and such. And his "puberty smackdown" as Chloe puts it is not his fault. I love reading about him almost as much as reading about Simon. He's really warming up to me.

Ahhhh! I love Derek! And not to sound shallow or anything, but I'm glad the author made him less repulsive, because "Mother Nature was doing him a favor" or whatever she said. But seriously I love him :)
