What do you think was the tipping point of goodreads? How does it relate too the book?

I think the tipping point came when Goodreads began letting us feed our reviews into Facebook. Many of my Facebook friends joined that way. But I was addicted even before then, and that's because once I knew people were actually reading my reviews, I was encouraged to write more, and to write more, you have to read more. It's a virtuous cycle.
"The Tipping Point" of Good reads in my opinion is the book reading challenges posted in various groups..which turned me into a fast and serious reader
