I can't wait to read it now. I hope it's not a lot of sexual tension that spans throughout the series because I think I'm over the sexual tension I just want the characters to get it on. LOL
Jael wrote: "This series has been on my TBR for a while. Has anyone read this I need feedback because I want to start reading next week."I read the first 3 of these a couple of years ago. Got tired of all the over the top sex, and haven't read any in awhile. I like sex in my books, but these weren't interesting enough to me otherwise.
this was a good book. have to go find the next one. the sex was a little over the top but i was kind of expecting it since it was werewolves. everything i read with them always seems to have lots of sex! i did like Riley, she was just enough of a kick ass heroine, but one that didnt have the ego(at least to me anyway!)
That is great to hear Michelle I've worked the first book into my July challenge. I'll definitely be reading that after I read
I've read the first 3 in the series and really enjoyed them. I plan to read the rest of them maybe I can fit them into my challenges. Werewolves are always portrayed as very sexual so I didn't feel the sex was over the top.
I guess that is why I love Shifters especially wolves because they are so IDK the word but god they know how to steam up it.
Just finished the first in this series and I must say I loved it. I can't wait to pick up the next and see how things go with Riley and Quinn. That Talon was a real f'ing bastard .
yeah, i didnt like Talon either. I had a funny feeling about him to begin with. i was a little more surprised with misha's(sp) involvement, didnt expect that.
Yeah Misha's involvement was shocking especially Spoiler*****
in Talon's plot to get Riley preggers. I just couldn't believe that she didn't know something was up with those. My biggest disappoint in the book was that Rhoan is gay. For some reason I have fallen in love with this character. I need more of him.

I have read all but the last few of this series. I like it. I love the guilt free sex. I like the gay brother and that plotline. The club scene--it is just great to experience vicariously. I will read the rest, but too much new stuff to choose from.
Gosh I'm so glad to have found you ladies and this discussion! I LOVE this series, it's one of my absolute favorites!!! I love Riley! And I'm really rooting for her and Quinn :) I'm dying for the next book to come out!!!!
Welcome Susan. Lucky you to be all caught up. I'll be reading book two in this series and can't to see what happens. I take by book 7 Quinn and Riley still don't have things worked out?
Thanks Jael! Well not to spoil anything, but no, so far they are still on again/off again... but it's definitely interesting!! :)
I like this series, too. I actually think that the 2 most recent books were even better than the early ones, which doesn't happen often with a series. Riley gets more comfortable with her job and seems more grown up. I've been meaning to try some of the author's other series, too. Anyone else tried any yet? I'm a fan of the author on Goodreads, too, she seems pretty cool from her blog. You might want to check that out, too.BTW, it really is nice to find people to share this stuff with. I was in a book group once where everyone wanted to read "serious" books. I'm all for literature, but I don't do depressing if I can avoid it, and I'd much rather have good silly fun.
This series has been on my list for a while too. I actually sat at home one night and did an excel spreadsheet of all the series i wanted to start. there is 36.... This is the next one i want to start though, but i keep getting side tracked with others that i have started. Im glad to see so many people like it. Ill have to get at least book one and check it out.
Yeah you really should Lauren, I think you will really like it!!!!You know I agree with you Catherine, this series seems to just bet better and better!:) I have her other series on my TBR list but have not yet tackled them, so will be interested to hear as well if anyone has read them and what they think....
I'm about 150 pages into the first book, and I really like it so far. I bought the first 7? books off of ebay so I can read them back to back. I've never read a book with so much guilt-free sex, lol. Its a nice change from the last few books I've read were it has been virgin women, desitined romance, etc. I have high hopes for this series.
That is exactly why i like the story as well. No drawn out sexual tension. Riley gets right to business. I love it! I only read up to book three but i have enjoyed those books. i will be continuing with the series soon.
I have the brand new one sitting in my TBR pile. Hopefully I'll get to it later this month (after I get my challenge reading out of the way.)
I just read book 3 last month and loved it. it didn't have a lot of sex this time around but I did like the pace of the story and the ending. I can't wait to read book 4.
