Despite the fact that I hate the redesigns on all the villains and am only a casual Spider-man fan, that is a beautiful trailer.
Some really great action scenes. My daughter might be able to drag me into the theater to see this one.

Okay - just watched this movie and want to share some spoiler-free thoughts. First - I loved it. There was some great acting, the story was solid and built upon what we've seen in the first one - very well done. Here's the thing about this movie though... it really feels like everyone involved in making this love the character, know the source material, and most importantly set out to make a Spider-Man movie that they, as fans, would want to see. I know creating a movie is about making money and all of that - but this didn't feel that way. This felt like a gift - one fan to another... so to those who created this film - thank you.
This was a great movie that did not disappoint! Is there a third one out yet??? I prefer Toby McGuire to Andrew Garfield as he developed the character more, but all in all I loved it and I cried so much when Gwen died. :'( I ship Harry and Felecia.
Hi Katherine. There will not be a third movie in this series. We are instead being introduced to a new "High School-aged" Peter Parker... the actor is Tom Holland.
This was recently on TV. I've now seen it several times and I still hold my breath when Gwen falls.James, that's sad to hear, I thought this team were incredible and felt that the story was building to something big.
They got me all excited for a live action Sinister Six and now that's been scrapped and Peter is going back to high school...?
Curse you, sony pictures!

Oh goodness, another Spiderman re-make? At least this seems to be pretty solid as this actor is signed on for a bunch more Marvel movies it seems - not just a Spiderman run. So while I'm a bit disappointed the other two Spiderman actors have been sorta "tossed aside", I am looking forward to this newbie. Plus, Marvel hasn't let me down yet xD
So, finally got around to watching this on netflix and it is pretty dire.
The scene at the end comes close to redeeming it, but if every villain was going to just be a mecha, then I can live without a sinister six movie.
