This is where tributes, mentors, escorts, and stylists from District 2 stay during their time in the Capitol! :)

Devon scanned his surroundings cooly before chucking a knife at the door angrily. Why? Why did everything have to be so complicated?

AJ stepped up on the table then down on the couch behind it. She took a bite of the junky food laid out before them. Disgusting, yet she continued to eat.
Devon stormed angrily towards the couch where he saw 'the girl.' He sat down beside her. "Hi, Sunshine."
"But of course," he said, grinning sinisterly at her. "It's not like it's rocket science or anything. Oh wait, it is!" he said. He felt like a fuse right now, ready to blow up at any minute.
"The quarter quell is dumb. I cannot believe i trained for this!" She kicked over the coffee table in front of her.
"Exactly!" Devon said angrily. Everything was stupid. He shouldn't have been worried about getting to close to anyone here. That was completely irrelevant now.
AJ stood up and walked on top of the wreckage she just caused. She grabbed a water bottle from the stupid triply little welcome basket.
"So, Lovely," he said, "What do we do now?" Devon wasn't sure why he even bothered to ask. He was going down, and he had volunteered for it. He truly had seemed to dig his grave.
AJ looked around the room. "Hm..." it all seemed to pristine. She didn't know how but she wanted to do something about it.
AJ watched him approach. "What?" She asked with a false innocence. She felt the butter knife on the counter beside her.
Devon grinned, "I can practically see some devious idea going through your head." he said, "The question is, what is it?"
Devon pretended to think about it for a minute. "You know, the funny thing is that no one here cares what anyone is thinking. Sorry, Darling, but I'm no different." he said, "But I can tell you this… When you're in a place that is basically a glorified death row, everyone always has the same thought nagging somewhere in their head."
Devon leaned forward as well. His face was inches from hers. "I strive to please." he winked. "Well, actually, that's a lie." he added with a laugh.
"Yeah you really strike me as a full on people pleaser," AJ said sarcastically. "You punching our district's peacekeepers made that very clear."
"Well, those new trainees did terrible," AJ muttered thinking of how her father would have disapproved.
Devon rolled his eyes. "Tell me about about it!" he exclaimed. Really, it was an insult to years of hard work.
AJ knew the training facility back home inside and out. She hated most of the guards her father trained; they always looked down on her. "Anyways I'm gonna go get some sleep." She stood up and tossed her bottle on the carpet. "See you later slick."
