Exploring Anthony Trollope discussion

These novels are peopled with the titled and wealthier members of society and often focus on the politics of the day. While each novel stands on it's own, you would be well-served reading them in order if by chance you might end up reading all of them.

A thought and a warning to other readers...major spoilers are part of the other threads about this series. If you start reading them out of curiosity, you will learn more than you may want to.

I think the descriptions refer only to the beginnings of the novels. However, while each novel can stand on its own, they do progress one from the other and Trollope often refers to events contained in the previous ones.

I meant that because I read the book description ahead of time, I was told (view spoiler)[Lady Glencora died unexpectedly (hide spoiler)] which I would rather have read for myself. No offense intended, I just would have rather found that out for myself.

I might add that I'm usually quite prickly about spoilers. I added these descriptions when I had read only about 10 Trollope novels total, and not all of these Palliser novels. But I had read enough of them to believe that the introductions contained in my source for these did not provide true spoilers, just introductory material.
