Published in 1874 in the Fortnightly Review, this novel features the scandalous but wealthy old Lord Lovel, who marries Josephine Murray, though later disowns her and her daughter, claiming that he had another wife at the time of their marriage.

This sounds intriguing. I may have to dive into this on my Kindle the next time I'm looking for a new Trollope to read.
