Welcome Wendy! Its really great to have you. :)
Having you maintain a website in your mothers memory is something to commend...and keeping her work remembered.

Wendy wrote: "Thanks. What I'd really love to get done is have production(s) of her musicals... she adapted each of Jane Austen's novels as musicals (at least one had a staged reading at a JASNA convention)"
lol that sounds very cool. Maybe in the future your wish will come true.
There are a lot of Austenites out there who I Think would love a musical based on her books :)

Right now, 8 titles are available as eBooks. I would love to eventually have all of them in every format possible, but there is a process that is extremely time-consuming involving publishers and contracts and such.
Penguin/Signet released 3 titles last year as eBooks and eReads released 5.

I also have on my seemingly endless "to do" list to finally fire up her old computer and take all the unfinished manuscripts off of it and to post her other writing (poetry, etc) on her website. She was in the middle of at least one book when she passed away.

My name is Wendy and I'm the daughter of author Elizabeth Mansfield, who I'm guessing you may have heard of, since she was a Signet author for many years.
I maintain her website and last December, I recorded a 20-episode podcast of "A Christmas Kiss" (where I read the book out loud and attempt to do an English accent). If you want to check it out, it's here: http://elizabethmansfield.com/categor...
I'm working on writing a script for "Mother's Choice" that will be read by me and some other people (many of whom have had actual dramatic training, LOL) and I'm hoping to get a new audio book podcast up over the course of 2014.
Anyway, hi, and I look forward to interacting with you all.
